"VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI'I'S FUTURE" DEBUTS ON HAWAI'I ISLAND THIS WEEK -
We're happy to report that "Voices of Truth - One-on-One With Hawai'i's Future" is now shown throughout all of Hawai'i with our debut this weekend on Na Leo Television, channel 54, on both sides of Hawai'i Island.
"Why Independence?" will air on both the Hilo and Kona sides of Hawai'i this Friday, Oct 8th at 5:30 PM and again on the Kona side on Saturday Oct 9th at 7 PM
Then "Voices of Truth" airs another brand new segment this week on 'Olelo on O'ahu -
Saturday, Oct 9th at 8 PM we are proud to debut "Surviving And Thriving -A Visit With Sheryl Iona." In this brand new segment, we meet small business entrepreneur and single mom Sheryl Iona who shares with us all how she went from surviving to thriving. This Native Hawaiian wahine is an inspiration proving that "making it" in Hawai'i - running a business and raising a family all on her own - can be done. A superb one for moms and daughters to watch.
Viewers on Maui and Moloka'i will be able to view "Travels To Foreign Lands," on Akaku, Visions - Channel 53 at 6:30 PM tomorrow evening, Wednesday, Oct 6th.
In it, we recount the participation and contributions of Hawaiians at the Third Annual Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues at the United Nations as well as the substance of our, until now, closed door meetings on Capitol Hill this last May. If you haven't seen it yet, here's a chance to catch this very timely segment.
Then on Ho'ike - Channel 52 on Kaua'i, it's "Why Independence?," Thursday, Oct 7th at 8:30 PM.
"Voices of Truth" interviews activists in the Hawaiian Independence movement to discover what made them go from armchair observers to active participants in the hopes of inspiring viewers to do the same.
