Sabra's an extraordinary Native Hawaiian activist and cultural practitioner who is on the forefront in many different ways; basket weaving, tapa making and cultural preservation. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26th -
One of our newest segments, "Living The Values - A Visit With Kupuna Kauila Poaha-Reyes." Kauila is a revered elder and cultural practitioner from Kaunakakai, Moloka'i. Kupuna Kauila has worked with the DOE on Moloka'i as a community resource and proudly lives the values of her Native Hawaiian culture. It airs on Na Leo Television, channel 54, on both sides of Hawai'i island this Friday evening, November 26th, at 5:30 PM , and again on Saturday at 7:00 PM on the Kona side only.
"Doing It All - A Visit With Clarence Ku Ching." Ku is a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner as well as an athlete, scientist, attorney, politician and activist. A fascinating interview not to be missed. On 'Olelo for our viewers on O'ahu at 11:30 AM.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 27th -
"Public Servant With A Conscious - A Visit With Hawai'i State Gary Hooser," is the debut of another of our brand new Voices Of Truth segments. Senator Hooser talks about Hawaiian issues and enactment opportunities at the state level. And he very poignantly shares about his sponsorship of the recent Senate Resolution of Commendation for Koani Founder John Butch Kekahu III. On 'Olelo for our viewers on O'ahu at 8 PM.

"Voices of Truth" interviews activists in the Hawaiian Independence movement to discover what made them go from armchair observers to active participants in the hopes of inspiring viewers to do the same.
