SPECIAL REPORT - THE TRUTH ABOUT FEDERAL RECOGNITION ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI'I'S FUTURE

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 12th -
"The Truth About Federal Recognition - A Visit With David Ingham - Part One." This groundbreaking new segment was filmed in San Francisco with David Ingham, one of the world's foremost authorities on federal recognition and what it has done to native peoples.


David shares with us how he came to be so interested in this issue as it pertains to Hawai'i and how it will affect the people of Hawai'i should it pass. Given that an attempt will be made once again to pass the "Akaka Bill" this year in the US Congress, this is a show that no one should miss.

"Public Servant With A Conscience - A Visit With State Senator Gary Hooser." Those of you that haven't yet seen this segment will want to as Senator Hooser speaks about Koani Foundation's late founder, John Butch Kekahu III and the resolution passed last year in Butch's honor.


Senator Hooser also shares with us his background, how he came to be called into public service and his strong desire to work with Native Hawaiians in achieving their political and social goals.
