We are proud to present three very different yet powerful role models this week, all seeking in what they do to create a brighter future for Hawai`i. They inspire us all to do our part too because their message is - "if we can do it, so can you!"
So here we go with this weeks schedule of Voices Of Truth - One-On-One With Hawai`i's Future -
MONDAY, July 11th - On Na Leo Television, channel 54, on both sides of Hawai'i island at 7:00 PM.
"Coming Out And Overcoming - A Visit With Hinaleimoana Wong." Another of our brand new second season segments for our Hawai`i island viewers.
Hina Wong is not only a charter schoolteacher, powerful cultural practitioner of hula and oli, but also a role model whose path, as transgender, has been uniquely different.
Hina shares with us the obstacles she overcame in order to find not only herself, but her place of active involvement and contribution in creating a better Hawai`i.
Hina reveals how courage and commitment are key to overcoming most anything. A truly inspirational segment to watch!
