Once again, the people of Hawai`i have spoken.
In an online poll, the Maui News asked, "The Akaka Bill granting Native Hawaiians federal recognition has been held up in Congress by a group of Republican senators. What do you think Congress should do?"

Pass the Akaka Bill - 27.5%
Reject the Akaka Bill - 68.9%
Revise and pass the Akaka Bill - 2.3%
Don't Know - 1.3%
