BY SPECIAL REQUEST THIS WEEK ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I' S FUTURE

We very much appreciate another week of very positive feedback again - we're glad you all are enjoying the shows.

And yes, we will honor the many requests we received this week to replay some recently aired segments so that you may see them again as well as those of you who missed them the first time and wanted the chance to see them.

But don't get too comfortable, because next week we'll have another brand new segment on Voices Of Truth - One-On-One With Hawai`i's Future -

MONDAY, October 17th - On Na Leo Television, channel 54, on both sides of Hawai'i island at 7:00 PM
"Anthropology-An Hawaiian Journey - A Visit With Steven Boggs."

Retired University of Hawai`i anthropology professor Steven Boggs, a long time resident, as well as a strong supporter of Independence for Hawai`i reveals what led him to that view.

He talks about his early years, visiting schools in Nanankuli and what 6 year old students taught him about being Kanaka Maoli [Native Hawaiian] and living under a foreign occupation.

Professor Boggs relates the dispossession of the Kanaka Maoli he has witnessed, what causes it, and most importantly, what we all can do about it.

Don't miss this inspirational message from an educator who not only has witnessed the past, but has a message of hope for the future.

WEDNESDAY, October 19th - On Akaku, Channel 53 at 6:30 PM

"Kupuna Islands - A Visit With Sabra Kauka."

In a very unique and already popular new second season segment, Kaua'i resident Sabra Kauka takes us along on the 2005 Educators Expedition to the Kupuna (Ancestor) Islands, also known as the Northwest Hawaiian Islands.

A Hawaiian cultural practitioner and educator, Sabra was one of only ten Hawai’i educators selected for this “first-of it’s-kind” opportunity, where the environment of the Kupuna Islands is very beautiful, but also very fragile.

Sabra reports, "It’s our kuleana (responsibility) to protect this environment because it's the nursery for the younger, inhabited Hawaiian Islands. We Kanaka Maoli are spiritually, genealogically, and culturally linked to these Kupuna.”

Well, naturally, we had to sit down with her and get the whole story in amazing and beautiful pictures and words.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity as she shares highlights and photos on this spiritual and very special voyage.

THURSDAY , October 20th - On Ho`ike, Channel 52 at 8:30 PM
