A PEEK INTO A FREE HAWAI`I ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE

Have you ever wondered what a Free Hawai`i might actually look like?

What would the vision be? And why would it be any better than what we have right now?

Our guests this week share their own insights to these "what and why" questions and their answers may both surprise and amaze you.

They're individuals who have obviously spent quite a while searching for the answers and in the process have become both stronger and wiser because of their journey.

So, if you want some inspiration for your own search, join Bumpy, Sabra, Lynette and Jackie as well as the rest of us this week on Voices Of Truth - One-On-One With Hawai`i's Future -

MONDAY, November 28th - On Na Leo Television, channel 54, on both sides of Hawai'i island at 7:00 PM
"Unsettled Spirit - A Visit With Bumpy Kanahele."

Another of our second season segments that has received very positive reviews, we feature one of Hawai`i's long time sovereignty fighters, and founder of both Pu`uhonua O Waimanalo and Nation of Hawai`i.

Because he shares with us an aspect of himself that not everyone sees, and what got him involved in creating a better future for the people of Hawai`i, viewers have remarked about powerful, inspiring aspects of Bumpy they never knew.

We promise you'll want more as Bumpy tells how his years growing up actually helped to mold him as a leader today who is both strong and wise.

Filmed on location at Pu`uhonua O Waimanalo, Bumpy is 100% inspiration in a setting of stunning beauty and also an example of what all Hawai`i could be.

WEDNESDAY, November 30th - On Akaku, Channel 53 at 6:30 PM

"Kupuna Islands - A Visit With Sabra Kauka."

In a very unique and popular second season segment, Kaua'i resident Sabra Kauka takes us along on the 2005 Educators Expedition to the Kupuna [Ancestor] Islands, also known as the Northwest Hawaiian Islands.

A Hawaiian cultural practitioner and educator, Sabra was one of only ten Hawai’i educators selected for this “first-of it’s-kind” opportunity, where the environment of the Kupuna Islands is very beautiful, but also very fragile.

Sabra reports, "It’s our kuleana [responsibility] to protect this environment because it's the nursery for the younger, inhabited Hawaiian Islands. We Kanaka Maoli [Native Hawaiian] are spiritually, genealogically, and culturally linked to these Kupuna.”

Well, naturally, we had to sit down with her and get the whole story in amazing and beautiful pictures and words.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity as she shares highlights and photos on this spiritual and very special voyage.

THURSDAY, December 1st - On Ho`ike, Channel 52 at 8:30 PM
"Journey For The Queen - A Visit With Lynette Cruz."

How important are the words, works and life of Lili`uokalani today ? Is the Queen simply a royal of the past or a leader for us all today?

Long time Living Nation activist and college professor Lynette Cruz shares with us the impact the Queen has on her everyday life and how the far-reaching vision, wisdom and aloha of this incredible Mo`i [royal] guides her in everything she does.

For Lynette, Lili`u is the ultimate role model guiding us into the future. Share with your entire `ohana what Lynette has to say in this highly inspirational segment about our beloved Lili`uokalani.

FRIDAY, December 2nd - On Na Leo Television, channel 54, on both sides of Hawai`i island at 5:30 PM.

SATURDAY, December 3rd - On 'Olelo this Saturday at 8 PM.

"Woman Of Accomplishment - A Visit With Jackie Kaho`okele Burke."

Jackie reminds us of the saying, "If you want something done, just ask a busy person to do it."

As if being publisher of the `Oiwi Files wasn't enough, Jackie has somehow found time to launch a plan for Sovereignty Buses that will travel throughout Hawai`i as well as across the US to educate and spread the message of Kanaka Maoli self-determination.

On top of that, she plans to film a documentary on the project as the buses travel.

And did we mention that she also has not one but two masters degrees as part of her action plan?

We're sure you'll agree that Jackie's a superb role model for making things happen as she shares with us her exciting vision for the future of Hawai`i.
