LIES & DISTORTIONS OF OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS EXPOSED ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE
They’re at it again!
Yes, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) is once again taking their Kau Inoa dog and pony show to the US continent, spending beneficiaries money in another ridiculous attempt to try to get people who don’t know any better to sign up.
Because the vast majority of Hawaiians living in Hawai`i know the score, they won’t have anything to do with Kau Inoa.
Even some of the Hawaiian civic clubs who originally signed on have now withdrawn their support.
So that leaves only expatriates in the US for OHA to attempt to fool.
With all day Kau Inoa presentations coming up this week on the US west coast, we thought it appropriate to bring out one the biggest assets we have – the truth.
So our shows this week focus on individuals who are standing up to the lies and propaganda of federal recognition and its decoy, Kau Inoa.
From the Gwich’in in Alaska, to the United Nations and Capitol Hill on the US east coast to a Hawaiian PhD. in southern California, we have the ones who stand up to tell the truth, right here on Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.
MONDAY, April 24th At 7:00 PM & FRIDAY, April 29th At 5:30 PM - Hawai`i Island - Na Leo, Channel 54
"Standing Up For Independence - A Visit With Dr. Hanalei Vierra, PhD."
With little left to do but try and convince those living away from Hawai`i that being turned into a ward of America is a good thing, OHA continues their attempt to create a “government” by fooling people into signing onto a roll they call Kau Inoa.
Well, Hanalei Vierra shares with us his experience of being at one of those events and being the voice for Hawaiian Independence at OHA's Kau Inoa meeting in San Diego, California last year.
Standing up over and over in the audience to counter OHA's falsehoods and propaganda, Hanalei shares with us how one voice can make a huge difference, as he asked the presenters honest questions for which they had no good answers.
With more of OHA’s west coast presentations coming this week, be sure and catch this one as Hanalei relates, blow by blow, how frustrated OHA representatives became as he stopped them cold!
WEDNESDAY, April 26th At 6:30 PM - Maui - Akaku, Channel 53
"Hawaiian Independence At The United Nations - Part One"
In this first part of a two-part series, Koani Foundation Director Kai`opua Fyfe, during a break in proceedings at the UN, relates his experiences of what happened when he went to Capitol Hill in Washington, DC this last spring and attempted to testify against the Akaka bill.
With Senator John McCain chairing the Senate Hearings, what Kai`opua found was that only those supporting the bill were scheduled to speak despite his numerous attempts to be included.
But, while no negative testimony was allowed, Kai`opua did see and hear some very eye opening things that will definitely surprise you.
Be sure and sit down with your entire `ohana (family) and catch this unique first person account of what it's like to be a part of a US Senate hearing, along with some of the most powerful people in the US in the same room attempting to stack the deck their way once more.
THURSDAY, April 27th At 8:30 PM & FRIDAY, April 28th At 8:30 AM - Kaua`i - Ho`ike, Channel 52
"A Violation Of Trust - Part One - A Voices Of Truth Special Report."
At their conference in Honolulu last August, the Council For Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) invited several representatives of federally recognized Native American tribes and Alaska Native Corporations to promote the economic benefits of federal recognition and oil drilling in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge.
When the Gwich'in, the native people who actually live on that land asked to participate in the discussions, the CNHA refused their request.
Not to be silenced, the Gwich'in did come to Honolulu and, with help from their many Hawai`i supporters, presented panel discussions and an Artic Film Festival at the State Capitol.
They also rented a conference room close to the CNHA convention to share the truth with all who would listen. What they revealed was stunning.
A proud and self-sufficient people, the Gwich'in refuse to allow the violation of their natural environment.
They recount their life of poverty and deprivation under federal recognition and their constant battles with the US federal government and alien economic opportunists.
It has become clearly apparent that certain individuals within the CNHA have been secretly working with senators from both Alaska and Hawai`i to promote drilling in the ANWR, against the wishes of the Gwich'in, and also to force federal recognition here in Hawai`i - for personal gain.
In this emotionally charged segment, hear the truth for yourself - what the CNHA has tried to hide as Alaskan Natives describe how oil is destroying their physical and spiritual health and their traditional lives. Hear the disastrous effects of federal recognition on these special people.
SATURDAY, April 22nd At 8:00 PM - O`ahu - 'Olelo, Channel 53

As in part one, hear for yourself what the future will hold should federal recognition ever become reality in Hawai`i. Be sure and catch this unique window into what to prevent at all costs right here at home.
