Office Of Hawaiian Affairs Conspires Once Again To Steal Rights Of Hawaiian Nationals By Attempting To Set Up Counterfeit "Nation."
Here's An Abridged Version Of One Hawaiian's Reaction
"The Office of Hawaiian Affairs will fail as they did in Washington.
We Hawai`i Nationals will be celebrating again.
What they offer does not fit the definition of a Nation.
It will not have the sovereign jurisdiction or other conditions that would make it a nation.
They would have you relinguish your national rights and take something much less.
By doing that, you will usurp the authority and jurisdiction that your ancestors enjoyed as a legitimate nation, to accept a lesser status and give the Kingdom away to the US.
Then what about the non-Kanaka Maoli (non- Native Hawaiians) who were naturalized under the Hawaiian Kingdom and embraced our society and nation, who were ever-loyal to the Queen?
Do we say they don't exist and deny them of their national rights?
Are you familiar with the Kingdom's Constitution and laws?
Are you going to let the US off the hook and give them the kingdom? Why? Can't you govern yourself like kupuna (elders?)
Are you not capable of governing yourselves?
We have our government, no need to recreate one that fits their ideal of what they want; a puppet and phony.
It's time for the US belligerent occupation to end; pack up, and get out and don't forget to pay your bill for the damages!"
