TIME FOR CHANGE AT OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE

We again send our mahalo out to all who continue to let us know just how fed up you are with the Office of Hawaiian Affair’s reckless spending of millions in beneficiary dollars in yet another attempt to set up a puppet Native Hawaiian government under US control.

“Enough is enough! How can we put a stop to this insanity?” is what most of you have asked.

We bring you the answer this week.

Several OHA trustees will soon be up for reelection.

Bumpy Kanahele is one of several who have stepped forward to challenge the status quo by running. He represents opportunity for meaningful change.

Bumpy makes no secret of the fact that he will seek to put an immediate end to the chronic mismanagement and corruption that has characterized OHA for years.

We sat down with Bumpy recently and he told us his vision and plans.

We began to see right away he would bring not only a new beginning to OHA, but would genuinely represent the will of the people, not pervert it.

Bumpy deserves everyone’s vote. But don’t take our word for it - see for yourself.

Gather your `ohana and friends around and listen, as we did, to a true servant of the people this week on Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

WEDNESDAY, September 6th At 6:30 PM & THURSDAY, September 7th At 6:45 AM Maui – Akaku, Channel 53
FRIDAY, September 8th At 5:30 PM Hawai`i Island – Na Leo, Channel 54
“Hawaiian Patriots In Action – A Visit With Clarence Ku Ching”

As one of the people who went to Capitol Hill to help defeat the Akaka bill, Ku Ching gives us his first hand experience of what it’s like to be in the power center of the US.

As a former OHA trustee himself, Ku had plenty of credibility when meeting with senate power brokers to share his views on why the Akaka bill should be defeated – and they listened.

Ku also gives us his in depth analysis of OHA’s “Plan B” and we’ll tell you right now it isn’t pretty.

Don’t miss this one as Ku tells us what the future holds for Hawai`i after the Akaka bill as well as why OHA is so busy publicly attempting to smear his name.

THURSDAY, September 7th at 8:30 PM & FRIDAY, September 8th At 8:30 AM Kaua`i – Ho`ike, Channel 52
“Serving The People – A Visit With Bumpy Kanahele”

Even though we’ve known Bumpy for years, every time we visit we always come away impressed.

With his announced OHA trustee candidacy bid, we finally have someone who’s honest, forthright, will work for the people if elected and not another tool of the corrupt state apparatus.

And it’s no secret that Bumpy’s a “black and white” kind of guy – you always know where he stands on issues.

Naturally we asked him why he’s running as well as how he’s different from the rest.

Well, the more we heard, the more excited we got – from his native bank proposal to how he would involve our younger generation, and most importantly his vision and strong commitment that everyone has a share.

Join us as we sit down with one of Hawai`i’s long-time servants of the people and find out why he deserves everyone’s support in his run for OHA as he shares his vision for Hawai`i and tells us why the people’s time is now.

SATURDAY, September 9th At 8:00 PM O`ahu - `Olelo, Channel 53
“Hawaiian Patriots In Action – A Visit With Leon Siu”

How was the message from Hawai`i’s people regarding the Akaka bill received on Capitol Hill?

Leon Siu, one of a team that went, delivers an answer that may surprise you.

Pointing out the ridiculousness of OHA’s divisive racial arguments in trying to get the bill passed, Leon reveals his team’s message to the Hill was far different - one of Kingdom Nationals being disenfranchised.

Leon also reports that senators were very receptive when reminded that Hawaiians have always been inclusive, not exclusive.

Countering criticism they cooperated with conservatives, Leon explains why those may be the very ones who will be the first to recognize a Free Hawai`i.

Find out what Leon sees as the answer to what life looks like after the Akaka bill and why he believes “aloha” is one of the most powerful words in any language in all the world.

Voices Of Truth interviews those creating a better future for Hawai`i to discover what made them go from armchair observers to active participants in the hopes of inspiring viewers to do the same.

Those not in Hawai`i wishing to view the series may do so by visiting www.olelo.org and then clicking “NAT- Channel 53.” A screen should then display allowing you to see the show via live streaming.
