OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS ABANDONS HAWAIIANS & WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE

By now most of you are aware of protests by Native Hawaiians occurring on Moloka`i against Office of Hawaiian Affairs trustees and Department of Hawaiian Home Lands regarding the La`au Point development project.

This massive $200 million dollar foreign real estate development would threaten not only the rural lifestyle of the entire island, but Hawaiian cultural practices that have been occurring there for thousands of years.

Most importantly, the project’s creation would increase water demand by over three times what is currently being used.

Where do you think the extra water will come from?

It will be taken from long time Hawaiian homesteaders.

And here’s the most disgusting part – the entire OHA trustee board passed a resolution last week to support this project.

Once again we ask – “When will the insanity stop?”

On November 7th, you’ll have your chance to bring it to a screeching halt.

The Moloka`i protesters, Hui Ho`opakele `Aina, are urging everyone not to reelect a single incumbent OHA trustee.

We concur with one addition.

When you request your OHA ballot, (and any registered voter in Hawai`i can,) vote only for Dennis Bumpy Kanahele.

Because the top vote-getting candidates with be the winners, here’s your opportunity to not only elect a true servant of the people, but also send a strong message that corrupt and immoral behavior by those who should be working for the people instead of against them must stop once and for all.

Whether you live in Hawai`i or not, forward this information to everyone you know who lives in these islands.

Finally, ask every single person you know in Hawai`i, Hawaiian or not, to request the OHA ballot and vote the same way.

Request they to sit down with their `ohana (family) this coming week and watch our show featuring the only true servant of the people running, Bumpy Kanahele.

The momentum is changing.

And the information you need to know to help make it happen is right here on Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

“Serving The People – A Visit With Bumpy Kanahele”

Even though we’ve known Bumpy for years, every time we visit we always come away impressed.

With his announced OHA trustee candidacy bid, we finally have someone whose honest, forthright, will work for the people if elected and not another tool of the corrupt state apparatus.

And it’s no secret that Bumpy’s a “black and white” kind of guy – you always know where he stands on issues.

Naturally we asked him why he’s running as well as how he’s different from the rest.

Well, the more we heard, the more excited we got – from his native bank proposal to how he would involve our younger generation, and most importantly his vision and strong commitment that everyone has a share.

Join us as we sit down with one of Hawai`i’s long-time servants of the people and find out why he deserves everyone’s support in his run for OHA as he shares his vision for Hawai`i and tells us why the people’s time is now.

Voices Of Truth interviews those creating a better future for Hawai`i to discover what made them go from armchair observers to active participants in the hopes of inspiring viewers to do the same.
