FIFTEEN THINGS YOU CAN DO TO CREATE A BETTER HAWAI`I

  1. Be clear what you want from Hawaiian leaders and tell them.
  2. Participate wherever you can.
  3. Talk about what you and your family and friends are looking for from Hawaiian government so that you can be clear when you tell them what you want. Look for points of agreement.
  4. Take up the differences later.
  5. Understand your rights as Hawaiian nationals and as Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian.)
  6. Study and understand Hawaiian history.
  7. Write and call your legislators and tell them you support a bottom up approach and that Hawaiians are tired of being legislated to without consultation.
  8. Write and call the governor and your legislators and tell them that you support a cohesive Hawaiian political block.
