FOREIGN NATIONS DEMAND U.S. FREE HAWAI`I AS COURT BARS SELLING CEDED LAND

Russia and Romania demanded on February 23, 2008, at a United Nations commission meeting in Geneva, Switzerland the United States restore self determination to Hawai`i.

Meanwhile the so-called state of Hawai`i cannot sell or transfer the 1.8 million acres of former Hawaiian monarchy lands, known as ceded lands, until the claims of Native Hawaiians to the property have been resolved, the Hawai`i Supreme Court has ruled.

This ruling means the Supreme Court doubts the state of Hawai`i is the legal owner of State controlled lands.

Settling the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom has become an international issue.
