SAVING CASH & CULTURE CLASH ON “VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`IʻS FUTURE”

"Not For Sale At Any Price - A Visit With Ka`anohi Kaleikini"

When you think of Walmart you normally think of low prices, not controversy and culture clash. Yet thatʻs exactly what happened when Walmart decided to build a store in Honolulu over an ancient Hawaiian gravesite. It didnʻt take long for present-day descendants to protest, and thatʻs how we met Ka`anohi Kaleikini, who took us on a tour of the property and what we found amazed us. Join us as we learn from her whoʻs buried there, why the area is so culturally significant, and what Walmart did that caused so much upset and protest - Watch It Here
