STILL

To all who still talk to rocks, the earth, the water and the sea and know them to be relatives as living beings, to those who still have a relationship of ways that bring forth food, sustenance, ceremony through an exchange of spirit filled prayer and hands in the ground, to those who still hear the words, teachings, wise council of the ancestral realm and still follow, and to those who place their offerings on ancient sacred places because you still believe, because of all of you we can ask mountains to protect us and water guardians to take care of us and regulate the wind and rain and then surrender in the understanding that the highest good will prevail because we still pray and chant, sing and dance and because we still stand.

You, all of you here and everywhere who still do all of this, in your name I weave these leis and place them on a rock that still speaks to me. and I thank you all for all you do, in sacredness i still pray,

Me ke aloha nui.
