Yesterday, when students and faculty returned to Central Middle School, their school had a new name! Last Friday, September 17, the State Board of Education voted to change the name of Central Middle School to PRINCESS RUTH KEʻELIKŌLANI MIDDLE SCHOOL. ... It went into effect immediately!
If the Board Of Education can make the name-change to honor Princess Ruth, the schoolʻs early benefactor and patron. Then it should certainly change the name of President William McKinley High School and stop honoring such a horrific U.S. president.
