"Labor Of Love - A Visit With Lehuakona Isaacs"
Kawai Nui Marsh, with many cultural and natural resources of international importance, is the largest wetlands in Hawai`i that supported a large population in ancient times. So when Lehuakona Isaacs heard it was in danger of being taken over by invasive plants, he knew something had to be done. Thatʻs when he and other volunteers sprang into action ultimately helping to restore Kawai Nui with native plants. Join us in our amazing visit with Lehuakona surrounded by the remarkable beauty of Kawai Nui as he explains why the area was so significant in ancient Hawai`i and why so many have worked so hard to save it today - Watch It Here
