OCTOBER FREE HAWAII NEWS -              CAN MANSIONS FOR MILLIONAIRES ON MAUI BE STOPPED?

Also Is Agritourism & Indigenous Tourism An Answer For Hawaii?, Why Hidden Farms In Hawaii Kai Could Be Key To Food Sustainability, We Also Explain How The United Nations Can Help Set Hawaii Free & The Power Of Hula In Kumu Hinaʻs Mana`o

The October “Free Hawaii News” airing tonight, Friday October 4th at
6 PM on `Olelo Television Channel 53 on O`ahu and online at http://FreeHawaiiNews.com reports on why both agritourism and indigenous tourism could be solutions for Hawaiiʻs troubled tourist industry.

“The COVID pandemic showed us why Hawaii desperately needs new models of tourism going forward. Agritourism as well as indigenous tourism are successful in other island nations throughout Oceania and look like they could also be a good fit here,” says Free Hawaii News co-host Hinaleimoana Wong. “We have a report from Hawaii Island on how agritourism and indigenous tourism could succeed in Hawaii and what it would take to set them up here.”

We also feature a report on a little known fact that Hawaii Kai has operating farms which are currently struggling to stay on the land there and why they could play a key, out-sized role in helping to solve Hawaiiʻs long-standing food sustainability issue. “We were able to bring in to our Free Hawaii News studio one of the individuals who has been farming their land in Kamilonui Valley for decades and she explains to us why itʻs so critical that farming continues there,” reports Free Hawaii News co-host Leon Siu.

We also cover why Maui residents want building mansions for millionaires stopped in itʻs tracks and a Kumu Hinaʻs Mana`o segment which showcases the amazing power of hula in Hawaiiʻs culture.
