ITʻS BACK WITH A DIFFERENT TACK ON “VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`IʻS FUTURE”

Tomorrow is Halloween, a day many other cultures observe filled with fright from those who rise again from the dead.

And yet the people of Hawai`i also have something to be afraid of right now - the US federal Akaka bill has come back to life once again.

As heʻs been known to do, US senator Dan Inouye is attempting to quietly sneak it past both the people of Hawai`i and also the US federal government.

Should he succeed, this Akaka bill will turn Native Hawaiians into American Indians. It will also pay off handsomely for a specific few.

So whatʻs his current sleight of hand to steal Hawaiian Kingdom land? Find out this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV in “Akaka Bill Slick Trick.”

And speaking of land rights in Hawai`i, Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation attorney Alan Murakami has dedicated his life and career to defending Hawaiian rights and land. See and hear his deeply inspiring story all this week on
Hawai`i’s award winning Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

“My Hawaiian Genealogy - A Visit With Robert Ebanez”

Being Hawaiian in most of the 20th century meant assimilation. Speaking Hawaiian, studying the culture and learning your genealogy were all discouraged. Such was the world Robert Ebanez grew up in, yet as a teenager he found himself yearning to learn those very things. Donʻt miss our visit with Robert as he recalls an encounter with his auntie who much to his surprise turned out to be not only one of Hawai`iʻs greatest scholars, but the one largely responsible for the Hawaiian Cultural Renaissance today - Watch It Here

OBJECT TO PROTECT ON “VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`IʻS FUTURE”

Alan Murakami is not your average kind of lawyer.

If he was, heʻd be in a private practice law firm making big bucks with what has recently been called “the 1%” as clients.

Instead Alan works for the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation protecting native Hawaiian rights, fighting for those with no voice in the legal system of the illegal occupier in Hawai`i - the US.

Why does he do this? What made him walk away from a private law practice with big bucks. Find out for yourself all this week on
Hawai`i’s award winning Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

HE FIGHTS FOR HAWAIIAN RIGHTS ON “VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`IʻS FUTURE”

Every single day Hawaiians are at risk of losing something in Hawai`i.

Water rights, access to ancestral lands, or even the ability to continue living there, the ability to grow their own foods, as well as education, political and health rights.

With historically limited access to the legal system, Hawaiians would be the forgotten in their own homeland if it werenʻt for people like Alan Murakami.

An attorney for the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, Alanʻs passion is to fight for and secure native Hawaiian rights.

Obviously it takes a unique and talented person to do what Alan Murakami does - be the voice for the otherwise voiceless.

We think youʻll be as inspired as we are, so check our brand new visit with Alan all this week on

Instead they now find themselves disenfranchised and without a voice.

Who are they? Find out this coming Wednesday as we debut “Hey - You Have No Say” on Free Hawaii TV.

We feature individuals this week who through their own hard work and dedication do have a voice and are speaking out, making a difference and offering solutions in many different ways throughout Hawai`i. See for yourself on
