MORE PROOF THAT HAWAIIANS DON'T WANT THEIR LAND OR COUNTRY STOLEN FROM THEM

The Maui News -Thursday, March 17, 2005

The Akaka Bill is moving foward this time real fast.

We, the kanaka maoli people of Hawai'i [Native Hawaiians], are learning freedom and what caused us to nearly lose our identity.

Now that we are getting more akamai [smart] or educated with law and the processes of law, the de facto government in Hawai'i is moving fast to claim all.

We see what is happening on Moloka'i and that won't stop, we know that. So what do we do?

We can't wait around until something else is taken away then come together and make noise.

Gotta start now, people! Let's move now. The Akaka Bill is not for me, yet they say it is for all kanaka [people.]
