The History Books Say Hawaiians Voted Overwhelmingly For Statehood.


Nothing Is Further From The Truth.


Only 36% Of All Elligible Voters Voted In The 1959 Statehood Vote.


Of That 36%, 94% Did Vote For Statehood.


But Who Were Those Voters?


American Citizens Who Settled In Hawaii To Live, US Military And Family Members.


The Truth Is 64% Of All Eligible Voters Never Voted At All.


The Vast Majority Of Hawaiians Boycotted The Statehood Vote
