PEOPLE TALK & WALK THE WALK ON VOICES OF TRUTH – ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I’S FUTURE

“Honoring Our Patriots – Looking To Our Future” is the theme of Sovereign Sunday on the grounds of `Iolani Palace today in downtown Honolulu from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The annual observance marks the illegal takeover of the Hawaiian Kingdom by the US and foreign sugar barons in 1893.

Everyone is invited to participate in this free public event, where the focus of discussion will be creating a pono or just future for a Free Hawai`i.

Free parking is available on the Palace grounds.

Noelani Goodyear-Kaopua is not your average teacher.

As a matter of fact, Noelaniʻs not really a teacher at all, but rather an educator who leaves a unique imprint on all her students.

Her amazing love for Hawai`i, its culture as well as her mission to share that with her students is what we discovered right away in our visit with her.

Filmed on the grounds of Halau Ku Mana, a Hawaiian public charter school she co-founded, we think youʻll be just as inspired as we were.

Be sure and see our visit with Noelani, one of Hawai`iʻs premier educators all this week
on Hawai`i’s award winning Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.
