HE GAVE SO IT COULD BE SAVED ON “VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`IʻS FUTURE”

"Wouldnʻt Let It Die - A Visit With Kamak`eu Williams"

When the Hawaiian language almost became extinct some years ago, no one was more painfully aware than Kamaka`eu Williams. Because of his dedication to saving it, he not only became a fluent speaker, but today is a third grade teacher in a Hawaiian language immersion school. And in his dedication to the language and the culture, he met his future wife, who is now his life partner in the preservation of these priceless treasures. Join us in our visit filmed on Maui with Kamaka`eu as he shares his remarkable story of how he helped save that which is most precious to him and us - Watch It Here
