We wish to bring to your attention blatantly illegal acts and outright sabotage by the majority of trustees at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
Highly reliable sources have independently confirmed the following -
An agenda for a July 8th executive board meeting was posted on the OHA website and then removed shortly thereafter prior to the 8th. As a result, the public was largely unaware of this meeting.
The agenda for the meeting mentioned consulting with OHA attorneys to obtain legal advice regarding nation building. (In fact those attending to give them advice were John Waihe`e, Sr., Robert Klein and Norma Wong, all strong federal recognition proponents.)
Since the trustees were told ahead of time there would be no voting at the meeting, trustees Hulu Lindsey, Dan Ahuna and Bob Lindsay went to other meetings they were scheduled to attend. Their aides attended the meeting in order to appraise their trustee of what took place.
Before the meeting started the six present OHA trustees, Colette Machado, Haunani Apoliona, Peter Apo, Oz Stender, John Waihe`e, Jr. and Rowena Akana voted to amend the agenda.
They voted unanimously to do three things -
Proceed with Kana`iolowalu
Hold a Native Hawaiian AHA in six months
Close the Kana`iolowalu roll so no one can remove their name
In Light Of This We Strongly Urge You To Contact These Six Trustees & Let Them Know The Following -
Their acts not only violated Hawai`i fake state sunshine laws, but are acts of treachery against the Hawaiian Kingdom.
They have completely ignored the voice of the people at the just concluded DOI hearings.
You consider them to be, in Colette Machadoʻs own words, “American politicians” who are faces of the occupation and are in collusion with the US oppressor to maintain the belligerent and illegal US occupation at all costs.
You will hold them accountable and make them pay.
You will no longer be silent but will work tirelessly for their defeat when their OHA seats come up for re-election.

It is time to put a stop once and for all to OHAʻs illegal acts and the trustees belief they can act with impunity against the Hawaiian Kingdom and each and every one of you.
