"The Power Of Words - A Visit With Kalama Cabigon"

Kalama Cabigon enrolled in Hawaiian language class so he could meet girls. Instead he met John Ke`ola Lake, one of Hawai`iʻs most revered cultural practitioners. Learning far more than he ever expected, Kalama soon realized the significance of cultural chants he was being taught as they began to deeply influence his skills as a poet and musician. Join us in our fascinating visit with Kalama as he performs some ancient Hawaiian chants and shares the deep impact Hawai`iʻs culture has had on his life - Watch It Here
