Plus Hawaiians Demand Representation In Expiring US Military Land Lease Negotiations, Also Why Was The Health of Hawaiians Linked To The Stability Of The Hawaiian Kingdom? Then What Inspired Us At The Hawaiian Councilʻs Convention In Tulalip, Washington And A New Kumu Hinaʻs Mana`o

The November 2025 “Free Hawaii News” debuting tonight Friday, November 7th airs at 7 PM on `Olelo Television Channel 53 on O`ahu, on all neighbor islands and also at FreeHawaiiNews.com

“In a special report from Nuku`alofa, Tonga, we announce a diplomatic breakthrough recognizing the Hawaiian Kingdom. Not only did the twelve member nations/territories of the Polynesian Leaders Group vote to accept Hawaii as its newest member, but they agreed to recognize the Kingdom of Hawaii rather than Hawaii as the fiftieth US state. This is a huge leap forward for the Hawaiian Islands and we expect others to follow,” states Free Hawaii News co-host Leon Siu.

“Then in our Pacific Way segment both co-host Hinaleimoana Wong and I report on our recent trip to Tulalip, Washington to attend the Hawaiian Councilʻs Native Hawaiian Convention. We  discuss what inspired us the most and report on the many different side events which made this convention so impactful.”

“Also on the November Free Hawaii News we cover the latest developments on US military use of Hawaiian Kingdom lands for war practice. In an historic unified statement, thirty-seven Hawaiian groups are demanding full oversight and representation in all upcoming negotiations of expiring US military land leases,” reports Free Hawaii News co-host Hinaleimoana Wong.

Plus we report and whatʻs behind the Office of Hawaiian Affairs attempt to revive a push for US federal recognition and we also interview Hawaiian historian Adam Keawe Manalo-Camp on why the health of Hawaiians was directly linked to the stability of the Hawaiian Kingdom, plus we feature a brand new Kumu Hinaʻs Mana`o segment.
