SUPERFERRY JUMPS SHIP ON RENT
Waterfront Partners sued Hawai`i Superferry in Circuit Court yesterday, alleging the Superferry has failed to pay $51,310 in rent on its leased headquarters at One Waterfront Plaza.
The landlord alleges the Superferry stopped making lease payments on March 20, the day after Superferry ceased operations in Hawai`i because of a state Supreme Court ruling.

The fake State of Hawai`i is arguing Hawaiians have no rights to those lands.
MANA (Movement for Aloha No ka Aina), is calling on all supporters of Kanaka Maoli rights and sovereignty to fly or display a Hawaiian flag on February 24 & 25, the eve and day of the Supreme Court hearing on the "ceded" lands case.
Fly your flag proudly! This will be a sign of our resistance to the State's attempt to dissolve our land rights, and a symbol of our unity.
Spread the message far and wide – fly our flag on February 24 and 25.

SUPERFERRY SERVICE TO END SOON?
Hawai`i Supreme Court To Decide New Case
The Hawai`i Supreme Court, whose ruling last year led to a three-month shutdown of the Superferry, will decide whether the interisland service can continue in a new case to be heard next week.
The court will decide whether Gov. Linda Lingle and the Legislature violated the state Constitution last year with a new law that allowed Superferry to resume operation while an environmental review of the project is completed.
A ruling could have an immediate impact on whether Superferry can operate between O`ahu and Maui.
