Time to Kūʻe!

UH Regents… What Part of A’ole TMT Don’t You Get?
Last week the UH Board of Regents — despite the years of legal disputes, hearings, protests and physical blockades by thousands of protectors of the mauna — voted to move forward to build the Thirty Meter Telescope atop sacred Mauna a Wakea. Auwe! Apparently the regents donʻt yet understand Einsteinʻs maxim: “insanity is doing doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”.

Itʻs time to activate Kū Kiaʻi Mauna and Kapu Aloha 2.0!

The Red Hill Disaster
Ola I Ka Wai... Water is Life! Since we learned about it 30 years ago, many have been saying the U.S. militaryʻs hoard of 200 million gallons of fuel stored under Red Hill is a ticking time bomb... a disaster waiting to happen. Now it’s happening. Unless decisive, immediate action is taken to completely remove the fuel from those leaking tanks, drinking water for half the population of Oʻahu will be irreversibly poisoned.

As huge as it is, Red Hill is just the tip of the iceberg. We can only guess at the other dangers that lurk in secret in military facilities all over our islands. We are literally sitting on giant powderkegs of fuel, munitions, nuclear weapons... that each day represents an existential threat to life in these islands. Not to mention being the irresistible big red X, for any U.S. enemy to attack.

The more we learn of how we have been used and abused, the more confident we are that the only way to protect our beloved Hawaiʻi and ourselves is to free Hawaiʻi from the clutches of the U.S. and restore our Hawaiian Islands as an independent, neutral country. ------

SIGN THIS PETITION…
Rename McKinley High School and remove the McKinley statue! He was the president who turned Hawaii from a peaceful, neutral country into a major hub of America’s war machine. Sign this online petition NOW! Tell everyone you know to sign it too!
