ARTIFACTS THAT WONʻT GET THE AXE ON “VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`IʻS FUTURE”
"The Royal Bones Of `Ewa - A Visit With Michael Kumukauoha Lee"
It all started with developerʻs dirty water. Thatʻs what Mike Lee found would come washing down the sands of Hau Beach killing sea life including limu or seaweed, critical to the areaʻs life cycle. But when he discovered royal burial caves containing priceless artifacts and remains of O`ahuʻs ancient rulers to whom he was related, he knew he had to act. Juanita Brown, whoʻs the powerhouse behind the event, gave us the tour and showed us why small scale agriculture was literally the secret to success in ancient Hawai`i.
