HAS THE ILLEGAL U.S. OCCUPATION
OF HAWAI`I WORKED?
Before western civilization arrived in Hawai`i, no food was imported for thousands of years.
All food was grown within Hawai`i and sustained a population roughly equivalent to what it is today.
Yet 92% of all food is imported today and sold at prices no one can afford.
Now the number of food stamp recipients in Hawai`i has nearly doubled over the last six years.
In raw numbers, thatʻs a jump from 89,646 people in June 2007 to 189,855 in June 2013, according to the Hawai`i Department of Human Services.
