HAWAIIAN KINGDOM FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER
RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS PEACE AWARDS
H.E . Leon Kaulahao Siu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Of The Hawaiian Kingdom & Diplomat Marcelo Tito at the Leahi Millennium Peace Garden
Minister Siuʻs Acceptance Statement -
I am deeply honored to receive these honorific mementos from the International Parliament. It helps to underscore the valuable role that the Hawaiian Kingdom has played and can continue to play in international matters.
Respected kupuna Aunty Pilahi Paki foresaw a Twenty First Century world in deep strife… and that the world would look to Hawai`i for healing. Aunty Pilahi said that Aloha would be its remedy.
Aloha is the powerful legacy left to us by our ancestors and exemplified by those such as our beloved Queen Lili`uokalani.
Despite the many challenges we have faced, the Hawaiian Kingdom is moving forward with Aloha. It is who we are and what we do best.
The strained condition of the world today makes it urgent that the issues be addressed with Aloha. Whether it is social injustices, health, housing, food, water, local economics, global trade, political conflict, human rights, armed conflict, refugees, mass migration – all can be best resolved if Aloha is at the core of our motivation, our behavior and our intentions.
With that said, we have to address the elephant in the room …
It is ironic that we — the people who speak of peace through Aloha — are being threatened with nuclear annihilation, due to the long-running occupation and hyper-militarization of our islands by the United States of America. The extensive US military installations in Hawai`i has made our islands a primary target for enemies of the United States; the most prominent today being, North Korea.
The Hawaiian Kingdom is seeking to peacefully intervene to urge both parties to stand down and the UN, for the sake of its humanitarian obligations, to stand up… and act to save the Hawaiian people; the resident aliens; and the guests in our islands — from nuclear annihilation.
Once the immediate danger is defused, the lasting solution would be the reinstatement of the Hawaiian Kingdom as a peaceful, neutral state, and the full withdrawal of the United States military, its weaponry and its ways of war.
Malama pono i ka honua (preserve harmony and balance in the world). Aloha ke Akua!

H.E. Leon Siu In Front Of The Cuban Foreign Affairs Building, Havana
H.E. Leon Kaulahao Siu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Kingdom of the Hawaiian Islands, and a 2017 Nobel Peace Prize nominee recently returned to Honolulu after a successful trip to Cuba.
He was the only official representative of the Hawaiian Islands in Cuba during the state funeral services.
The purpose of Minister Siu’s trip was to deliver Aloha from the people of the Hawaiian Islands to the citizens of Cuba during the week of former Cuba leader Fidel Castroʻs funeral.
During his stay he also made inquires on behalf of the Hawaiian National Broadcasting Network as well as the Hawaiian National Transitional Authority.
“My visit was to deliver aloha from the people of the Hawaiian Islands to the people of Cuba for the purpose of developing friendly relations for the future,” stated Minister Siu.
“We also took the opportunity to review previous diplomatic communications regarding the situation of the Hawaiian Islands.
“This trip was highly successful in gaining valuable insights and information for potentially building relations between the people of Cuba and the people of Hawaii as well as diplomatic rapport between our two countries,” remarked Foreign Minister Siu.
Since 2008 the Hawaiian Kingdom has been transmitting letters through Cuban diplomats at their foreign missions (UN, US) for their minister of foreign affairs.
Minister Siu, who is also a Koani Foundation director, is one of the 2017 nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Leon Siu was born in 1948 in the Hawaiian Islands. He was educated in the fine arts and is an accomplished composer, musician, artist, educator and diplomat. In 1996 he repatriated to the Hawaiian Kingdom. Since the year 2000, Mr. Siu has served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Ke Aupuni O Hawai`i — the Hawaiian Kingdom — and has traveled extensively in that capacity.

HAWAIIAN KINGDOM DIPLOMAT & KOANI FOUNDATION DIRECTOR LEON SIU NOMINATED FOR NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
Koani Foundation Director First Hawaiian To Achieve This Distinction
H.E. Leon Kaulahao Siu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Kingdom of the Hawaiian Islands, and a Koani Foundation director, recently learned he had been nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.
He is believed to be the first Hawaiian ever to have attained this distinction.
Minister Siu’s nomination is shared with his collaborator, Prof Dr. (h.c.) Mr. Mehmet Şükrü Güzel a scholar of international affairs from Turkey, who resides in Geneva, Switzerland.
Their nomination is for their effort to peacefully resolve the West Papua conflict with Indonesia by proving that the solution to securing peace and security in West Papua lies within the policies and measures already enacted by the United Nations.
Mr. Siu and Mr. Güzel met several years ago at the UN headquarters in Geneva as they were advocating for independence for respective captured nations — Mr. Siu for Hawai`i and Alaska (claimed by the United States) and Mr. Guzel for the Mapuché (claimed by Chile and Argentina).
Through the efforts of Minister Siu and others, the case for the reinstatement of the Hawaiian Kingdom as a sovereign, independent country is gaining traction in the international arena as more people become aware of the circumstances that led to the present wrongful occupation of the Hawaiian Islands by the United States. As a result, key members of the international community are indicating a willingness to assist in the cause to liberate Hawai`i.
“I am both thrilled and humbled to share this important honor with my colleague,” remarked Minister Siu. “The efforts to free West Papua can and should be directly applied to encourage the United States to end its prolonged occupation of the Hawaiian Kingdom. The time has arrived for a Free Hawai`i.”

DID YOU KNOW HAWAI`I WAS A MULTI-ETHNIC NATION?
In 1843, Hawai`i was a recognized independent nation.
Hawai`i had treaties with 25 world nations and had 96 legates and consuls throughout the world, including in the US.
But US covert and overt activities led to the 1893 invasion of the Hawaiian Kingdom and the US immediately recognized those who overthrew the kingdom without the people's knowledge.
Using that backing, they created the bogus "Republic of Hawai`i" against the people's wishes.
All legal attempts to annex Hawai`i to the US failed because the citizens of the Hawaiian Nation then overwhelmingly protested and sent their anti-annexation petitions to Washington, DC.
In covering up the hoax, Congress was forced to pass the Newlands Resolution declaring that the majority wished for the annexation of Hawai`i without a lawful treaty.
That's how Hawai`i became unlawfully annexed, and ultimately a fake state.
