Two Hawaiian Kingdom Celebrations
Two of the most important holidays we celebrate every year throughout the Hawaiian Kingdom are Lā Ho`iho`i Ea - Sovereignty Restoration Day (July 31) and Lā Ku`oko`a – Independence Day (November 28)

Ten days ago on July 31, we had an awesome celebration of Lā Ho`iho`i Ea. There were many postings all over social media of the festivities at Thomas Square, all around Hawai`i nei and even around the world.
 
And we look forwaerd to Lā Ku`oko`a – Independence Day at the end of November.

The Statehood Admission Scam
On the other hand, the Fake State of Hawaii, has an event that they sorta, kinda observe that happens parallel to our Hawaiian Kingdom holidays. That is: Hawai`i Admission Day – Statehood Day (August 21).

In the late 1950ʻs the US was worried that under its obligations to the United Nations Charter they would be forced to allow the people of their two most precious “possessions”, Alaska and Hawai`i the right to choose their future governance... even independence would be on the table.  Alaska and Hawaii were two “possessions” the US did not ever want to lose to independence. So the US cooked up a scheme: They would conduct rigged plebiscites in “The Territory of Alaska” (1958) and “Territory of Hawai`i” (1959) to make it appear that the people give their consent to becoming “states” of the United States of America. It was a major scam, but at the time, the US got away with it. As a result, in 1959, Alaska and Hawai`i were inducted into the US as the 49th and 50th States respectively... and the United Nations accepted it as a valid political resolution for those two American “territories”.

This is where we have been stuck. But over the years we have gathered the evidence to prove it was a scam… all we have to do is expose it in the right venue…

UPDATE... We are about to trigger an investigation at the United Nations that will reveal that, since 1946, the UN had been scandalously scammed by the US with regard to Hawai`i. The findings of the investigation would cause the withdrawal of international support to the United States ʻ claim to the Hawaiian Islands. The United States ʻ claim would collapse and they will be forced by mounting pressure of us Hawaiian patriots and the international community, to withdraw its claim — and its presence — from our country in a peaceful and orderly manner.

The more we stand as a nation and assert the Hawaiian Kingdom is alive and kicking, the more obvious the U.S. false claim becomes, the sooner there will be a Free Hawai`i.

STATE LEGISLATORS DECIDE NOT TO END DISCRIMINATION AGAINST HAWAIIANS

Hawaiian Nationals Once Again Left With No Remedy

On Tuesday by a vote of 0 to 5, Senate Resolution 159 was killed in the Senate Hawaiian Affairs Committee. They essentially voted not to do anything to fix the problem of rampant discrimination against Hawaiians, specifically, Hawaiian Nationals.

Introduced by Senator Maile Shimabukuro, Senate Resolution 159 called for the State to convene a commission to find ways that Hawaiian Nationals who are currently being abused by institutional discrimination, can live in harmony within the Hawaiian Islands, currently being governed by the State of Hawaii.

Leon Siu, co-author of the resolution stated, “By doing nothing, the State is allowing the continuation of the current practice of nationality discrimination against Hawaiians.”

State and US Federal civil rights laws prohibit discrimination on the basis of national origin.

Siu continued, “To their credit the State strives to honor these civil rights for everyone within the Hawaiian Islands, US citizens, Japanese nationals, Chinese nationals, British nationals, and so forth. The only nationality that does not receive equal protection under the law in the State of Hawaii, is the Hawaiian Nationality.”

What or who are Hawaiian Nationals? Like other nationalities, they are the body politic of a nation. They are those who identify with and maintain their first allegiance to a particular nation. Hawaiian Nationals are those whose first allegiance is to the Hawaiian Nation. Most of those who identify themselves as Hawaiian nationals are descended from subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Poka Laenui, another co-author of the resolution remarked “This resolution does not ask the State Legislature to recognize an independent state of Hawaii, a new (or old) Hawaiian government, or any other political entity. It asks instead that the Legislature conform its laws and policies to the reality of Hawaiian Nationals and to remove barriers to their inclusion within the Hawaii society.”

Siu also said “It is ironic that Hawaii, the wanna-be “sanctuary state,” would offer safe haven to all aliens regardless of their background, yet not lift a finger to protect the people who love this land and have lived here for generations.”

ACTION ALERT - HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF IF YOU SUPPORT A FREE HAWAI`I

Have you been watching with increasing alarm witnessing widespread discrimination lately across the US and wondered: What about discrimination going on right here in Hawai`i? Discrimination against Hawaiian Nationals!

What can you do about it? Support Hawai`i Senate Resolution 159 (SR 159)

Hereʻs what SR 159 will do -

Prevent the State of Hawai`i from treating Hawaiian Nationals as criminals or illegal aliens.

Prevent the State of Hawai` from forcing Hawaiians to be US citizens in order to live and function freely in Hawai`i, their(our) own country.

Stop all forms of discrimination against those in Hawai`i who self identify as Hawaiian Nationals.

SR 159 states that Hawaiian Nationals already exist. Thus, they(we) have the right to live freely in their(our) own country.


The Senate Hawaiian Affairs committee in the Hawai`i legislature will be voting on SR 159 this afternoon, June 30, 2020.

Please contact the Senate Hawaiian Affairs committee members below and urge them to vote YES to move SR 159 on to the Senate Judiciary committee in order to stop discrimination against Hawaiian Nationals -

Ending Discrimination Against Hawaiian Nationals

“[U.S.] Federal laws prohibit discrimination based on a person's national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex, and familial status. …[Thus, it is] illegal to discriminate because of a person's birthplace, ancestry, culture or language. This means people cannot be denied equal opportunity because they or their family are from another country, because they have a name or accent associated with a national origin group, because they participate in certain customs associated with a national origin group, or because they are married to or associated with people of a certain national origin.” — The U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division

In violation of their own Federal laws, the State of Hawaii has been constantly harassing, persecuting, arresting, prosecuting and jailing Hawaiian nationals, treating us as if we are criminals or illegal aliens and preventing us from leading normal, ordinary lives. The State denies Hawaiian nationals services that are otherwise available to anyone else living in the Hawaiian Islands — unless we say we are “U.S. citizens” and that we reside in the “State of Hawaii.” Thus, the State has been forcing us Hawaiian nationals, through coercion, to assume U.S. citizenship in order to be able to live and function normally in our own country. Forced citizenship is a huge violation of international law.

Senate Resolution 159 on Hawaiian Nationality is being heard at the State Legislature. It is a rude awakening for lawmakers. It had never occurred to them that this shocking form of discrimination is going on, imbedded throughout the State government system. Senate Resolution 159 not only brings the violation to their attention, it forces them to create a remedy. SR 159 is predicated on the presumption that we Hawaiian nationals already exist and as such, have the right to live freely in our own country. The fact of Hawaiian nationality is yielded. All the State has to do is figure out how to make way for us.

The resolution calls upon the State to form a commission to recommend what the State should implement to treat Hawaiian nationals (and Hawaiian nationality) with proper respect and fairness under their own law. The good thing is, whether Senate Resolution 159 passes or not, the cat’s already out of the bag… This means the State’s discriminatory acts against Hawaiian nationals have to stop immediately, even before they figure out how they are going to adjust to us.

The 174th anniversaries of the national holidays Lā Hoʻihoʻi Eā and Lā Kūʻokoʻa were widely and more intently celebrated throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The events reminded us of the sovereign and equal status attained by the Hawaiian Kingdom among the great powers of the earth.

The celebrations of the life of Queen Lili`uokalani — her 179th birthday in September and the 100th year since her passing in November — both served to emphasize her grace, wisdom and courage, making all the more heinous, the hewa committed against her and the people of her Kingdom. The wrongful taking is coming more into focus to a broader audience and with it, better understanding of the need to Free Hawai`i.

The Kū`e intensified — with actions against the TMT project on Mauna Kea and the solar telescope on Haleakalā; with high profile questions over land titles (particularly on Kaua`i with issues involving Zuckerberg, Wainiha, Coco Palms…); with uncovering judicial abuse of Hawaiian nationals (such as the wrongful detention of Robert Warren Jr.); and so forth.

And social media was ablaze with alerts, calls to action, information and discussions, getting people more maʻa to our condition and more committed to making things pono.

Meanwhile, significant progress was made in arenas not so visible… such as in international legal and diplomatic venues.

2018 Will Be Even Better! A Year Of Breakthroughs…
 
January 17 is the 125th anniversary of the real "Day of Infamy" in the Hawaiian Islands, when the peaceful Hawaiian Kingdom suffered a sneak attacked by U.S. armed forces in collusion with insurgents to cause a regime change.

This year, 2018, starting with the 125th anniversary of the “overthrow,” is a great opportunity to heighten awareness locally and globally of our situation and our resolve to Free Hawai`i. Besides using ʻOnipa`a Kākou to engage the press, the general public, the visitors, the state legislature (coincidentally opening its 2018 session on the same Day of Infamy) and the media, we will be working to gain coverage by the international press/media of our efforts to Free Hawai`i.

There are many other key dates this year that we plan to utilize to amplify our story, gain exposure and rally support to Free Hawaii.

Also, Hawaiian nationals will be pressuring the "State of Hawai`i” on a number of issues. One is to stop the Stateʻs blatant discrimination in its maltreatment and persecution of Hawaiian nationals due to our national origin. This form of discrimination is strictly prohibited by state, federal and international law. We will be mounting several other challenges to the legitimacy of the State of Hawai`i.

This is also the year we will be projecting our vision forward by discussing and starting in earnest to plan what Hawaii will be like as a sovereign, independent country.

WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH?

Hawaiian Nationals Are Working To Peacefully End The US Usurpation Of Hawai`i & To Restore The Hawaiian Kingdom As A Friendly, Independent, Neutral Country


Although the United States cause a regime change in 1893 and later usurped and displace the Hawaiian Kingdom government with a puppet government called the "state of Hawai`i" and although the US concealed and suppressed the facts and tried to wipe out any vestige of the sovereign, independent nation, the US could not extinguish the nation.

Having never been extinguished, the Hawaiian Kingdom is a nation in continuity - it still exists. And a s longas there are Hawaiiian Nationals (Hawaiian subjects) who maintain their allegiance to their nation, it cannot be extinguished.

Thus, the government, the Hawaiian Kingdom, is merely in suspension, waiting to be reawakened by the call of its nationals or subjects, the people of Hawai`i.

The Hawaiian Kingdom government has been dormant for many years. Hawaiian Nationals, the citizenry of Hawai`i are working to reawaken, reactiviate and reinstate their nation.

The objective is to end the US usurpation and reinstate the Hawaiian Kingdom as an independent nation.

WHAT IS A HAWAIIAN NATIONAL?

A Hawaiian National Is A Person Whose Home Country 
Is The Hawaiian Kingdom.

Nationality has to do with oneʻs country, not oneʻs ethnicity.

the most important component of a nation is its people - its "nationals.ʻ reactivating the Hawaiian Kingdom as an independent nation is the job of "Hawaiian nationals," the subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

The Issue Of Nationality
The United States never acquired Hawai`i. Therefore to say Hawaiian are US citizens is wrong. The questions for Hawaiians today are - Wjay is my nationality? Am I Hawaiian or American? Can I get back my Hawaiian nationality?

Why Is This Important?
When the Hawaiian Kingdom is restored as an independent nation, who will run the country? Certainly not the US or its puppet "State of Hawai`i." The Hawaiian Kingdom will need its subjects - its nationals - to oversee the Kingdom laws, decision-making, management and operations.

What Does "National" Mean?
A "national" is someone who identifies with, has legal political ties with, and ows  allegiance to a particular country.

Who Is A Hawaiian National?
(1) a person who is an ethnic Hawaiian (2) a person descended from a Hawaiian National or (3) a person legally naturalized to the Hawaiian Nation.

A Hawaiian National assumes all rights, benefits, responsibilities and obligations under Hawaiian Kingdom laws.

Why Should You Care?

This is a matter of correcting a grave injustice.

Hawaiians should be reinstated as the rightful stewards of these beautiful islands.

For over 120 years, Hawaiians have been deprived of their country and l, subjected to relentless indoctrination, Americanization, living under foreign laws protecting and empowering the usurper.

Hawaiians were told they had been adopted, when they had actually been kidnapped! Hawai`i is a nation in captivity.

The issue is one of justice and liberation, It is a matter of making things right - "pono" in Hawaiian. Those who live in Hawai`i and those who love Hawai`i have a moral obligation to assist those who pursue peace, restoration, repentance and healing on behalf of the people of Hawai`i.

We call upon people everywhere to take an active role to help affect reconciliation and restore "pono" - to Free Hawai`i.
