"HAWAI`I A VOICE FOR SOVEREIGNTY" WINS FILM & VIDEO AWARDS
Catherine Bauknight's feature documentary film, "Hawai`i A Voice For Sovereignty", has been awarded the Best Documentary Feature Film and Best Environmental Film awards at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.
"I'm incredibly happy to have received recognition from such a prestigious film festival in New York.", Bauknight says. "These awards are certainly of importance to the film, but more importantly, to the Hawaiian people. They have put a lot of their heart and soul into this documentary to get their message out to the world for sovereign rights in their homeland.
"To have a venue such as New York appreciate the importance of the Hawaiian culture, their relationship to the land, and their concern for the environment, is outstanding.
"The world is becoming aware of the Native Hawaiians and the importance of their magnificent culture! Aloha Ke Akua," she stated.

FAKE STATE PROTESTS ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE
Mahalo nui for the mountain of positive feedback we’ve received on our newest Voices Of Truth segment featuring our visit with Ramsay Taum.
Ramsay’s message is especially important for us now. In less than two weeks, on August 21st, the fake state of Hawai`i will attempt to celebrate it’s supposed legitimacy.
Free Hawai`i supporters plan counter demonstrations in cities all over the world to express outrage over the continued illegal US occupation of Hawai`i and to expose the 50th state as a fake and a lie.
Stay tuned to FreeHawaii.Info and Free Hawai`i TV between now and August 21st for breaking news and updates.
And be sure and visit HawaiiFakeState.com for more details.
Hawai`i, it’s culture and people are guided by our kupuna and ancestors, rather than a foreign political power as you’ll see this week on Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i's Future.
MONDAY, August 10th At 6:30 PM – Maui – Akaku, Channel 53

SATURDAY, August 15th At 8:00 PM – O`ahu, `Olelo, Channel 53
“Cultural Revolutions – A Visit With Ramsay Taum”
The past still exists right beside the present for Ramsay Taum. A noted cultural and sustainability expert, he knows the value of our kupuna and the cost if these elders pass without gaining their knowledge and insights. Yet he shows us how the past is always with us including those who have gone before. As you’ll find out, it’s much more than a “revolutionary” way of thinking - Watch It Here.
Voices Of Truth interviews those creating a better future for Hawai`i to discover what made them go from armchair observers to active participants. We hope you'll be inspired to do the same.
