NATION BRINGS FRUSTRATION, NOT LIBERATION ON VOICES OF TRUTH – ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I’S FUTURE

By now most have heard the Office of Hawaiian Affairs plans to start a new registry and attempt to create a Hawaiian “nation” now that the Akaka bill and federal recognition are dead and gone.

But no additional new nation is needed since one already exists – the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Why does OHA refuse to recognize that fact? Whatʻs so dramatically different between the “nation” that OHA wants and the one that exists right now?

What would OHA stand to lose if they recognized a Free Hawai`i - the Hawaiian Kingdom? Weʻve got all the answers for you this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV.

Few things are more important than teaching Hawai`iʻs cultural arts. Marie McDonald, one of Hawai`iʻs revered kupuna or elders, has been doing it for generations, and for her itʻs a labor of love. Donʻt miss our amazing visit with one of Hawai`iʻs cultural treasures this week on Hawai`i’s award winning
Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

WINNING HEARTS TEACHING CULTURAL ARTS ON VOICES OF TRUTH – ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I’S FUTURE

Hawai`iʻs cultural arts have been handed down orally for centuries.

Marie McDonald is one of those living repositories of knowledge – a master lei and tapa maker, who shares this unique knowledge by teaching the very same way she was taught – by watching and doing.

She and her daughter were both instructors at a special “by invitation only” private workshop on Hawai`i Island and that’s where we caught up with them.

They told us of a timeless process, thousands of years old, the same exact one used and handed down today to create two of Hawai`i most famous treasures.

To say we were fascinated by what Marie shared with us is an understatement. We think you will be too in a brand new segment all this week on Hawai`i’s award winning
Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

THESE ARMS MAY BRING HARM ON VOICES OF TRUTH – ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I’S FUTURE

From time to time we hear the comment, “If it weren’t for the US being here, Hawai`i would be vulnerable and likely taken over by another country anyway.”

Thatʻs a bit of twisted logic to say the least.

A report made public recently by whistleblower Wikileaks reveals how the US occupation of Hawai`i has actually put Hawai`i at risk of attack.

Thereʻs also a New York Times report which describes one of the other major military powers publicly reminding the US of its illegal occupation of Hawai`i.

Which countries and what kind of attack risk? Watch Free Hawai`i TV this coming Wednesday for all the details.

If you think Hawai`iʻs ceded lands are managed well by the US occupiers, think again. Hawaiian patriot Jon Osorio explains this week why for years Hawaiian Kingdom ceded lands have simply faced waste. See for yourself on Hawai`i’s award winning
Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

`Ohana Style – A Visit With Sheryl Waimakalani Iona”

Kukulu kumu hana, which means to pool one’s thoughts to solve common problems, brings children together in a two week immersion program to discover who they are and their connection to the `aina. Sheryl tells us, “We share with them who we see they’ll become. They always end up being it, having pride in themselves, their culture and their ancestors.”

MONDAY, December 27th At 7:00 PM & FRIDAY, December 31st At 5:30 PMHawai`i Island – Na Leo, Channel 53
THURSDAY, December 30th At 8:30 PM & FRIDAY, December 31st At 8:30 AM - Kaua`i – Ho`ike, Channel 52
“Last Man Standing – A Visit With Jon Kamakawiwo`ole Osorio”

What if you suddenly found yourself as the only person left between protecting something and losing it forever? That’s Jon Osorio and Hawai`i’s stolen ceded lands. Two million acres set aside for native Hawaiians stolen by the US during Hawai`i’s illegal overthrow about to be sold because today the state is broke. Will they get away with it? Find out if Jon’s the man to stop their plan - Watch It Here
