HAWAI`I AT RISK OF ATTACK DUE TO US OCCUPATION
US Military Says North Korea Can Hit Hawai`i With Ballistic Missiles

The top US military officer in the Pacific said Wednesday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is “clearly in a position to threaten Hawai`i today” with a ballistic missile attack and that the Pentagon is considering adding new ballistic missile interceptors and defensive radar there to counter that possibility.
Navy Adm. Harry Harris, the chief of US Pacific Command, told the House Armed Services Committee there are already “sufficient” ballistic missile interceptors protecting the United States at Fort Greely in Alaska and Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. But he added there is a possibility that not every missile would be stopped in an attack. Hawai`i, about 2,500 miles to California’s southwest, could benefit from having new equipment to protect itself, he said.
“I believe that our ballistic missile architecture is sufficient to protect Hawai`i today, but it can be overwhelmed,” Harris said. “Somewhere, we would have to make a decision about which missiles to take out, and that’s a hard decision....”

HAWAI`I NOT SANCTUARY FOR HAWAIIANS
In a surprise move, the attorney general of the so-called State of Hawai`i filed a lawsuit in federal court for an injunction against President Trump’s recent policy restricting entry into the US by travelers from certain countries. The State of Hawai`i intends to defy the president’s executive order by declaring itself a “sanctuary state.”
The lawsuit is a surprise move because the State of Hawai`i has always dutifully towed the line in enforcing US Federal immigration policies.
In fact, the state has gone overboard in utilizing the cover of US immigration policies to apply the status of “undocumented” to Hawaiian nationals — those Hawaiians living in the Hawaiian Islands and who assert they are subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom, residing in the Hawaiian Kingdom. The reason the state has a strong aversion to Hawaiian nationals is that their very existence and their claim of sovereignty, repudiates the legitimacy of the “State of Hawai`i.”
There is a guy named Bobby Warren sitting in the Hawai`i County Correctional Center who has been held there by orders from a state judge for the past 10 months. He has not been charged with any crime and yet, he is being detained by the state. The writ of habeas corpus filed on his behalf last September was ignored. The state judge refuses to let Bobby out even though holding him without charge is a serious violation of the most fundamental rights guaranteed under their own state, and the US constitutions.
Why is Bobby Warren being detained in a Hilo jail? It is not because he is kanaka maoli, a descendant of the original inhabitants of these islands. It is not because he committed any crime. It is because he is a Hawaiian national; a subject of the Hawaiian Kingdom; a man who says Hawai`i — not the US — is his country; a man who insists he lives in the Hawaiian Kingdom, not the fake “State of Hawai`i.”
And he is not the only one. Every year the “State of Hawai`i” routinely tickets, arrests, tries, fines, jails and otherwise harasses and persecutes dozens, if not hundreds of Hawaiians living in their homeland. Though documented in the Kingdom not as US citizens, but as Hawaiian subjects (a.k.a. Hawaiian nationals) the State of Hawai`i regards them as illegals and routinely treats them worse than undocumented immigrants.
Do you see the injustice? Do you see the abject irony? The governor, the attorney general, the legislators, the activists for human and civil rights, the media and other collaborators in the US occupation puppet-government, operating as the fake “State of Hawai`i,” are clamoring to declare the state a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants entering the US fake State of Hawai`i. Meanwhile, Hawaiian nationals living in Hawai`i are abused with impunity by the state. There is no safe place provision for Hawaiians in this would-be sanctuary.
Why donʻt these champions for sanctuary start a campaign to end the state’s persecution and abusive treatment of Hawaiian nationals, the only people who can genuinely and legitimately claim these Hawaiian Islands as their home country… and they do not need to be “documented” by the US to do so.
Why donʻt the champions for sanctuary expose the wrongful incarceration of Bobby Warren, held for 10 months without being charged, without trial, without conviction? Why not mount a campaign to free Bobby Warren? That would be a real demonstration of sincerity in the spirit of sanctuary that they profess.

The independent Hawaiian Kingdom was a neutral member of the family of nations.
However today, under the illegal US occupation, Hawai`i has become a nuclear target and state lawmakers want state officials to update plans for coping with a nuclear attack as North Korea develops nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles that can reach the islands.
The state House Public Safety Committee recently unanimously passed a resolution.
Committee Vice Chairman Matt LoPresti says he's not trying to spread fear. But he wants the public to know the government is taking steps to protect them in the worst case scenario.
He's aiming to get state funding to re-equip Cold War-era fallout shelters.

WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH?
Hawaiian Nationals Are Working To Peacefully End The US Usurpation Of Hawai`i & To Restore The Hawaiian Kingdom As A Friendly, Independent, Neutral Country
Although the United States cause a regime change in 1893 and later usurped and displace the Hawaiian Kingdom government with a puppet government called the "state of Hawai`i" and although the US concealed and suppressed the facts and tried to wipe out any vestige of the sovereign, independent nation, the US could not extinguish the nation.
Having never been extinguished, the Hawaiian Kingdom is a nation in continuity - it still exists. And a s longas there are Hawaiiian Nationals (Hawaiian subjects) who maintain their allegiance to their nation, it cannot be extinguished.
Thus, the government, the Hawaiian Kingdom, is merely in suspension, waiting to be reawakened by the call of its nationals or subjects, the people of Hawai`i.
The Hawaiian Kingdom government has been dormant for many years. Hawaiian Nationals, the citizenry of Hawai`i are working to reawaken, reactiviate and reinstate their nation.
The objective is to end the US usurpation and reinstate the Hawaiian Kingdom as an independent nation.

WHAT IS A HAWAIIAN NATIONAL?
A Hawaiian National Is A Person Whose Home Country
Is The Hawaiian Kingdom.
Nationality has to do with oneʻs country, not oneʻs ethnicity.
the most important component of a nation is its people - its "nationals.ʻ reactivating the Hawaiian Kingdom as an independent nation is the job of "Hawaiian nationals," the subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
The Issue Of Nationality
The United States never acquired Hawai`i. Therefore to say Hawaiian are US citizens is wrong. The questions for Hawaiians today are - Wjay is my nationality? Am I Hawaiian or American? Can I get back my Hawaiian nationality?
Why Is This Important?
When the Hawaiian Kingdom is restored as an independent nation, who will run the country? Certainly not the US or its puppet "State of Hawai`i." The Hawaiian Kingdom will need its subjects - its nationals - to oversee the Kingdom laws, decision-making, management and operations.
What Does "National" Mean?
A "national" is someone who identifies with, has legal political ties with, and ows allegiance to a particular country.
Who Is A Hawaiian National?
(1) a person who is an ethnic Hawaiian (2) a person descended from a Hawaiian National or (3) a person legally naturalized to the Hawaiian Nation.
A Hawaiian National assumes all rights, benefits, responsibilities and obligations under Hawaiian Kingdom laws.

Why Should You Care?
This is a matter of correcting a grave injustice.
Hawaiians should be reinstated as the rightful stewards of these beautiful islands.
For over 120 years, Hawaiians have been deprived of their country and l, subjected to relentless indoctrination, Americanization, living under foreign laws protecting and empowering the usurper.
Hawaiians were told they had been adopted, when they had actually been kidnapped! Hawai`i is a nation in captivity.
The issue is one of justice and liberation, It is a matter of making things right - "pono" in Hawaiian. Those who live in Hawai`i and those who love Hawai`i have a moral obligation to assist those who pursue peace, restoration, repentance and healing on behalf of the people of Hawai`i.
We call upon people everywhere to take an active role to help affect reconciliation and restore "pono" - to Free Hawai`i.

HAWAI`I SHOULD CONSIDER SECEDING FROM THE US

"The time has come, in my opinion, for us in Hawaii to consider the pros and cons of remaining part of the United States or of seceding from the union.
As has been widely acknowledged, there are currently two Americas — read USAs — socially and culturally, based on two different sets of guiding principles that are fundamentally incompatible.
What may cause some confusion is that both Americas are based on the notion of protection of individual freedoms, and for this reason both honor the U.S. Constitution, which promises the protection of such freedoms. However, freedom has come to mean quite different things to the two Americas.
For one — let’s call it “red America” — the emphasis is on rights in property: the right to own land and natural resources and to use them for personal or collective gain unencumbered by government interference, the right to own guns without restriction, the right to own businesses and pursue profit without overbearing regulations and without regard for the common good.
For the other — “blue America” — freedom implies the right to pursue personal goals without being encumbered by government regulation: the right to worship as we please, to choose as partners and marry whomever we please, the right to choose whether or not to bear a fetus — all without harassment, censure, or infringement from the authorities.
A second distinction is the preference by red America for cultural uniformity, the guiding notion being that everyone, regardless of origin, should assimilate to “the American way of life” as they conceive it. This gets expressed in several ways: that everyone’s primary language should be English, that the United States should officially be a Christian nation, that because earlier generations of white European immigrants presumably best exemplify the American way, they are the ones who should be in charge of its institutions, and that the traditional roles of males and females should be upheld in law.
In contrast, blue America values diversity and multiculturalism. There is a commitment to separation between church and state and to welcoming immigrants who wish to preserve their languages, cuisine and ways of life. The political commitment of blue Americans is for the control of institutions, including government, to be in the hands of well-informed, open-minded and empathetic leaders whatever their ethnicity, gender or religious beliefs.
The two Americas tend to rely on quite different ways of making sense of the world we live in, of assigning causation and blame, and of prescribing solutions to social problems. Whereas red America relies primarily on interpretations of scriptures and faith-based assumptions, blue America relies primarily on knowledge generated by scientific methods.
I question the feasibility of these opposing worldviews coexisting within the same national entity without perpetual strife and enmity. The polarization that we see in our country at present, the anger and venom being spewed at one another, is not indicative of a healthy civic society. We could continue this way indefinitely in the hope that ultimately reason will prevail, but reconciliation seems less and less likely, given current trends.
Unlikely as it is to materialize, there has been post-election sentiment expressed in West Coast states in favor of secession based on the overwhelming desire by a great many people of blue persuasion to dissociate from the reds.
In (blue) Hawaii, we understand these emotions, but we have a better case than most for secession, given that Hawaii was illegally annexed by the United States in the first place. I propose that we engage in serious discussions about the costs and benefits of secession, on the grounds not only of economics but also of a moral commitment to a worldview that differs so radically from red America.

HAS THE U.S. OCCUPATION OF HAWAI`I WORKED?
HAWAI`I IN LATE STAGES OF ECOLOGICAL DESTRUCTION

...While Hawai`i truly is (or was) one of Earth’s greatest natural treasures, its lands and waters have been ravaged for every possible commercial gain since the arrival of Capt. James Cook in 1778.
Its endemic forests have been largely destroyed for pastures and sugar cane plantations; its reefs and nearby pelagic waters depleted of fish.
The military destroyed one whole island (Kaho`olawe), and occupied and militarized 21 percent of the state with attendant contamination (over 400 toxic sites) and destruction.
Botanists, ornithologists, entomologists, evolutionary biologists and many other natural scientists have marveled at Hawaii’s unique biodiversity and evolutionary history.
When Cook arrived, Hawai`i had a 98 percent endemicity rate — almost every lifeform was unique. No one will ever know how many endemic species that inhabited Hawai`i in 1778 are now extinct, but we can be sure it is in the thousands.
Hawai`i is a bellwether of Earth’s future. Hawai`i is indeed “the ideal setting” (per the Star-Advertiser’s editorial) for a tough, depressing discussion of what is really happening in Hawai`i and on Earth — and not because of the thousands of hotel-rooms rented.
True, the nene goose is fine, the ‘alala (Hawaiian crow) is extinct in the wild but captive bred birds will be re-introduced, and silversword patches persist on Haleakala and Mauna Kea.
But consider the endemic birds, plants, and countless other known and unknown creatures driven to extinction by relentless economic exploitation and development. Hawaii leads the nation in threatened and endangered species, 437 officially....
...There is expansion, rather than restraint, on transoceanic and interisland agricultural trade that spreads invasive species.
The DLNR, and related federal and state agencies, have done a poor job of protecting Hawaii’s unique flora and fauna.
Irreplaceable koa forests are dying of old age because DLNR prioritizes livestock grazing. Mauna Kea’s endemic mamane forest continues to diminish because DLNR won’t eliminate invasive ungulates; the endemic palila bird, totally dependent on mamane, goes with it.
Put simply, this spectacular island archipelago is in the late stages of ecological destruction....
