SECOND HAWAI`I SUPERFERRY LAUNCHED
MOBILE, Ala. -- The largest aluminum catamaran built in the US launched from Austal USA's Mobile shipyard on Monday, a milestone that the shipyard feels "further strengthens (its) experience in advanced aluminum vessels over 100 meters in length."

The 113-meter high-speed ferry is the second of two vessels built in a $190 million deal with commercial client Hawaii Superferry Inc., which operates the first Austal-built vessel in the Hawaiian Islands.

Like the original vessel, it is designed to carry 866 passengers and 282 cars. It is six meters longer than the first vessel, thanks to a ramp that makes it suitable for military use.

Hawai`i Supferry Inc. has said it plans to operate the vessel commercially.

It is scheduled to start service in May 2009.

NEW `IOLANI PALACE RULES SEEK CONTROL OF ACTIVISTS

Prohibited At The Palace -

Obstructing public access to the grounds, buildings or structures.

Unauthorized occupation of any structure on the grounds, including but not limited to, Iolani Palace, Coronation Pavilion, Kanaina Building, Iolani Barracks Building and the Kekauluohi (Archives) Building.

Entering or remaining on the grounds during the hours they are closed, provided that persons with parking permits issued by the state Department of Accounting and General Services may enter and exit during the hours the grounds are closed for the purposes of parking and removing their cars.

Engaging in any activity so as to obstruct or impede pedestrians or vehicles, or harass or intimidate visitors, volunteers or employees traversing or on the premises either verbally or with physical contact or barriers; including but not limited to hindering or interfering with the public's use of one or more of the entry gates to the premises or building entrances.

Displaying signs of a size greater than 12 square feet.

We remember the life of Kanalu Young, one of Hawai`i’s most remarkable Kanaka Maoli warriors, who recently passed away.

Kanalu was not only a learned professor of history, but also a role model for others.

NEW RULES, TIGHTER SECURITY AT `IOLANI PALACE

Honolulu Star-Bulletin - Friday, September 26, 2008

Members of the Board of Land and Natural Resources unanimously approved new rules for `Iolani Palace State Monument.

The approval comes after two separate groups — the Kingdom of Hawai`i and the Hawaiian Kingdom Government — locked the gates and occupied the grounds in April and August, respectively.

Kippen de Alba Chu, executive director of the Friends of `Iolani Palace, said he is pleased with the changes. He said security at the palace grounds will be increased and that includes the installation of more security cameras.

The project, estimated to cost $200,000, is expected to be put out to bid in the next couple of weeks.

WHO WINS IN A FREE HAWAI`I ? - EVERYONE !

One of the biggest lies perpetuated is when Hawai`i achieves nationhood once again it will be at the expense of everyone else.

But no one will be kicked out; their businesses seized or their homes and property confiscated.

Instead, everyone, Hawaiians and all others, will be citizens of the sovereign and independent Nation of Hawai`i.

The Hawaiian Nation included people of many ethnic backgrounds that were loyal citizens before the illegal overthrow and it will be so again.

The truth is a sovereign Hawaiian nation will need the contributions and talents of all of its citizens to remain viable in the world. Hawaiians would be no better than the very supremacists that overthrew and occupied them were they to divide people by race.

Hawaiians have always been inclusive, not exclusive.

How would this be accomplished politically given a civil war resulted the last time a state tried to leave the US?

Unlike the southern US states, the Kingdom of Hawai`i and its citizens never agreed to become part of the United States in the first place.

Therefore a move for Hawai`i to secede from the US would be both unnecessary and inappropriate.

Much like removing the top coat of paint to reveal the one underneath, the US Congress, after consultation between Hawaiians and the US at the level of state to state, could simply enact a US federal law that dissolves the entity known as the “state government” in Hawai`i.

What would be left in its place is what has existed all along anyway without interruption – the Nation of Hawai`i.

HERE'S WHAT PRESIDENT GROVER CLEVELAND SAID ABOUT THE ILLEGAL OVERTHROW OF HAWAI`I -

“By an act of war, committed with the participation of a diplomatic representative of the U.S. and without authority of Congress, the Government of a feeble but friendly and confiding people has been overthrown.”

Cleveland continued that the U.S. Government occupied “the position of having actually set up a temporary government on foreign soil for the purpose of acquiring through that agency territory which we had wrongfully put in its possession.

The control of both sides of a bargain acquired in such a manner is called by a familiar and unpleasant name when found in private transactions.” The familiar and unpleasant name found in private transactions is “fraud.”

President Cleveland further stated: “a candid and thorough examination of the facts will force the conviction that the provisional government [of Hawai`i] owes its existence to an armed invasion by the U.S.

Fair-minded people with the evidence before them will [not] claim that the Hawaiian Government was overthrown by the people of the islands or that the provisional government had ever existed with their consent.”

"We are asking the county of Maui to condemn the property, so the people of Molokai can take care of the land they love," said Karen Holt at a press conference prior to the meeting.

HERE'S HOW THE US GOVERNMENT, WITH THE HELP OF THE OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS, IS PLANNING TO STEAL THE HAWAIIAN NATION

By their own laws the US cannot simply walk in and take Hawaiian land titles and erase the word "Royal" and replace it with "United States" Patent.

They and the State of Hawai`i have never had "Clear Title" since Jan 17, 1893.

They all know this and have known for a long time.

The only way the United States will ever be able to get clear title to the Hawaiian Islands is if Hawaiians give it to them.

This is why title to the Hawaiian Islands never transferred to the United States by the Newlands resolution.

The Newlands resolution relied on the treaty of Annexation from the republic of Hawai`i. But the republic never owned title because the Kingdom of Hawai`i never gave it to them.

But now they got a plan...they are going to get Hawaiians to give title to them.

How will they do that?

They are going to register a majority of Hawaiians to sign onto the Office of Hawaiian Affairs Kau Inoa roll.

They are going to draft governing documents to "re-organize the Hawaiian government".

They are going to get Hawaiians to elect officers to that government.

They are going to make sure those governing documents give the officers of the government the authority to give away title in negotiations.

They are going to get the majority of Hawaiians on the Kau Inoa roll to vote for the new governing documents to reorganize the Hawaiian government.

That government authorized and approved by the majority of Hawaiians is going to sit down at the negotiating table with the United States and trade land title for cash and benefits.

Many people believe that only the Kingdom of Hawai`i is authorized to give a way title to the Hawaiian Islands,and they are correct, but only as long as the kingdom remains intact.

If the majority of its subjects revolt by forming a new government, the kingdom no longer exists.

This is the effect of popular revolution. A federal recognition bill is only the bait. The hook is the formation of a new government and the negotiations between the U.S. and the new government.

As long as Hawaiians don't bite the bait...the hook is harmless...The bill is not intended to settle any claims...The bill dos not tell Hawaiians, but asks them to form a government that can and will extinguish Hawaiians claims.

SUPERFERRY QUIETLY REDUCES SERVICE

The Hawai`i Superferry has eliminated it’s Monday and Wednesday Maui afternoon voyages.

August ridership figures for the service have not yet been released.

Rumors are that the numbers are down from the record 125,000 riders reported in July. Evidently the ridership on Monday and Wednesday afternoons was so low the voyages were not worth continuing.

HOW DID HAWAIIANS BECOME OUTCASTS IN THEIR OWN LAND ?

Here's What The History Books Won't Tell You -

Western diseases, to which Hawaiians had no immunity, decimated their numbers. At the time of western contact, some 800,000 people inhabited the Hawaiian Islands.

By 1805 that number had been halved.

By 1853 there were only 71,000 Hawaiian or part-Hawaiian people in the islands.

Within 100 years of western contact, the Hawaiian population had been reduced by nearly 90 percent.

According to the 2000 census, the numbers of people who claim some native Hawaiian ancestry have increased to over 400,000. But only 239,000 live in Hawai`i and they are the poorest, most locked-up population in the state.

Although they only make up about 20 percent of the state's population, in June 2001 they made up 39 percent of the state's prison population, according to the state Department of Public Safety.

Sadly, they make up 37 percent of the state's homeless population.

WHAT CAN AMERICANS DO TO HELP HAWAI`I RECOVER ITS INDEPENDENCE ?

US Americans should start using critical thinking in resolving the Hawaiian issue.

One should become familiar with the laws of occupation to understand the issues.

One will also understand the folly of attempting to turn Hawaiians into American indians and tribes through federal recognition and what that seditiously represents.

The misrepresentation of the facts have been fostered on Americans and what has and is being done in their name.

Amid the myths and hoax lie documented facts with US admittance of misprison through covert and overt activities to destabilize the Hawaiian Kingdom over a century ago.

This took shape in a fake revolution to validate the nefarious actions spurred by the US government officials and their agents residing within the Hawaiian Kingdom.

If the US is therefore unlawfully occupying Hawai`i, logically it should deoccupy it.

CURIOUS ABOUT HOW HAWAI`I SUPPOSEDLY BECAME A US STATE ?

The United States acquired Hawai`i through force.

Queen Lili'uokalani, Hawai`i's last Queen, was deposed on Jan. 17, 1893, by a group of American businessmen supported by the United States Navy and Marine Corps and diplomatic representatives.

Sovereignty of Hawai`i was allegedly transferred to the U.S. on Aug. 12, 1898 during ceremonies at `Iolani Palace in Honolulu, on the island of O`ahu.

Hawai`i allegedly became a U.S. territory in 1900.

On Nov. 23, 1993, The United States apologized for illegally overthrowing the Kingdom of Hawai`i, and recognized the inherent sovereignty and right of self-determination of native islanders.

Needless to say, a lot of shady events took place between Jan. 17,1893 and Aug. 21, 1959.

Hawaiian sovereignty is a hot issue in the islands to this day and likely will be for as long as the United States flag flies over Hawai`i.

A HAWAI`I NATIONAL SPEAKS OUT ON THE MOLOKAI WATER RATE INCREASE

It seems once again the state wishes to victimize the Molokai people by penalizing them instead of Molokai Ranch.

How is it that the state will bend over backwards for the Aloha Airlines employees but won't give the same consideration to the Molokai people.

It is the state's fault that it gave Molokai Ranch so much control on that island and allowed it to monopolize that island.

The state is obligated to make things right.

They should assess the Ranch for not keeping the water pipes in good order. The costs should be absorbed by the Ranch for its dereliction of its responsibilities and not the people.

“I Lili`uokalani, by the Grace of God and under the Constitution of the Hawaiian Kingdom, Queen, do hereby solemnly protest against any and all acts done against myself and the Constitutional Government of the Hawaiian Kingdom by certain persons claiming to have established a Provisional Government of and for this Kingdom.

That I yield to the superior force of the United States of America whose Minister Plenipotentiary, His Excellency John L. Stevens, has caused United States troops to be landed a Honolulu and declared that he would support the Provisional Government.

Now to avoid any collision of armed forces, and perhaps the loss of life, I do this under protest and impelled by said force yield my authority until such time as the Government of the United States shall, upon facts being presented to it, undo the action of its representatives and reinstate me in the authority which I claim as the Constitutional Sovereign of the Hawaiian Islands.”
