Stolen Lands Moratorium Bill Introduced
A bill that calls for a moratorium on the sale and transfer of stolen Hawaiian Kingdom lands was introduced at the fake state Capitol.
Members of native Hawaiian groups packed a room at the Capitol to listen to the Legislative Hawaiian Caucus talk about rights for their people.
Native Hawaiian groups say these stolen lands should be protected for their people.
"No one is concerned, but we are very concerned with the disposition of our people and children from their land," said Mililani Trask, a native Hawaiian leader from Hilo.
"Time has come now for us to organize and move as Martin Luther King and Gandhi have."

HAWAIIAN CITIZENS REJECTED ILLEGAL US OCCUPATION
Over 96% of Hawaiian Citizens rejected the US attempted annexation back in 1897.
They never wanted to become part of the US. Rather, they wanted their monarch reinstated and their country back.
As for the fake state, it's null and void even according to the laws of the US constitution.
To this day statehood and the illegal US occupation is repugnant to Hawaiian Kingdom laws and treaties.
Only US citizens were allowed to vote for statehood or those declared by the US to be citizens, along with the US military.
The US went through the motions of legitimizing what could not be lawful or legal.
Today, with its phony Kau Inoa registration, the Office Of Hawaiian Affairs admits it is not establishing a nation at all but simply a tribal governing entity.
They are trying to fool native Hawaiians into thinking a nation will be created for them.
Instead they are trying to usurp legitimate Hawaiian Kingdom authority and jurisdiction to negotiate away forever the Hawaiian Kingdom.

WHAT DO HAWAIIAN NATIONALS
WANT ?
Here Is What They Say About Themselves, Their Countrymen And The United States -
"The most common sense thing is for total independence.
We were a progressive modern nation of our time and recognized as a friendly, neutral nation within the Family of Nations, the predecessor of the League of Nations and the United Nations.
We had a democratic form of government, a constitutional monarchy with a bicameral legislative assembly.
The works and legacies of our monarchs are legendary and noteworthy.
Today under the American system, we are concerned about our lands, culture, people and lifestyle which has been under attack for over a hundred years.
This gets us angry as more Hawaiians desire total independence as a result.
The Kingdom of Hawai`i is not only Native Hawaiians but subjects of non-Hawaiian blood who were legitimate subjects of the Kingdom.
This racial argument is an American thing and not a Hawaiian thing.
So our concerns are well within our scope to protect all our subjects of the Kingdom.
We do expect reparations and restitution from the US for the injurious damages to our nation, land and people.
The US government is well aware of this and is attempting a piecemeal settlement.
If the tables were turned around; which would you do? I'm sure it wouldn't be a hard decision.
Remember, Hawaiians never hated Americans; but only those that did harm to us and the US government for its complicity and deceit.
We were never afraid that another country would take us over; we had over twenty-four treaties with various countries but the US is the only country that broke their treaties with us."
That should tell you something.

HAWAI`I SUPERFERRY COSTS CONTINUE TO MOUNT
Costs for the Hawai`i Superferry are continuing to mount including some the state may have to pay.
The Legislature has appropriated $40 million to pay for harbor infrastructure upgrades to accommodate the high-speed interisland vessel. But that limit has been reached.
Additional costs have already hit some $5 million, including more than $1 million for a new mooring system at Kahului Harbor.
Another $250,000 to $350,000 will be needed to clear berthing space at Honolulu Harbor for Hawai`i Superferry's second vessel.
It's not clear at all who will be footing the bill for those projects.

GUESS WHO "BLINKED" ON VOICES OF TRUTH – ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I’S FUTURE
One week ago today on Sovereign Sunday, about forty brave Hawai`i National patriots faced down a large armed contingent of law enforcement officers from the Department of Land and Natural Resources on `Iolani Palace grounds.
Some of the officers wore camouflage uniforms – most were wearing bulletproof vests.
Arrest of the assembled crowd was threatened.
And for what? Performing Hawaiian cultural practices without a permit from the fake state of Hawai`i - raising the Kingdom flag, saying prayers over the ancient burial mound, and erecting small canopies to protect food brought.
The patriots decided to proceed and risk arrest.
In the end it was the fake state that blinked – making no arrests, officers confiscating the canopies and then backing off.
The lesson? The Hawaiian Kingdom lives and the illegal US occupation is the paper tiger.
A nation's gratitude goes out to those brave patriots who won the day.
More and more are now stepping forward to ku`e, or take a stand. We've got two awesome examples for you this week right here on Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.

WHO WINS IN A FREE HAWAI`I ? - EVERYONE !
One of the biggest lies perpetuated is when Hawai`i achieves nationhood once again it will be at the expense of everyone else.
But no one will be kicked out; their businesses seized or their homes and property confiscated.
Instead, everyone, Hawaiians and all others, will be citizens of the sovereign and independent Nation of Hawai`i.
The Hawaiian Nation included people of many ethnic backgrounds that were loyal citizens before the illegal overthrow and it will be so again.
The truth is a sovereign Hawaiian nation will need the contributions and talents of all of its citizens to remain viable in the world. Hawaiians would be no better than the very supremacists that overthrew and occupied them were they to divide people by race.
Hawaiians have always been inclusive, not exclusive.
How would this be accomplished politically given a civil war resulted the last time a state tried to leave the US?
Unlike the southern US states, the Kingdom of Hawai`i and its citizens never agreed to become part of the United States in the first place.
Therefore a move for Hawai`i to secede from the US would be both unnecessary and inappropriate.
Much like removing the top coat of paint to reveal the one underneath, the US Congress, after consultation between Hawaiians and the US at the level of state to state, could simply enact a US federal law that dissolves the entity known as the “state government” in Hawai`i.
What would be left in its place is what has existed all along anyway without interruption – the Nation of Hawai`i.

KAUA`I PATRIOTS IN SOLIDARITY FOR A FREE HAWAI`I
LIHU`E — While an estimated 5,000 demonstrators protested the state of Hawai`i’s stance on so-called ceded lands in Honolulu, roughly 15 assembled at the junction of Kapule Highway and Ahukini Road in Lihu`e in a sign of solidarity Saturday.
Katy Rose, a member of Kaua`i Alliance for Peace and Social Justice who helped organize the sympathy rally, said the 116th anniversary of the 1893 overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy is a “very significant date to keep history in people’s consciousness and brings up the pressing question of Governor Linda Lingle’s appeal to the US Supreme Court.”
“Most of us that were out there today were not Hawaiian people, but it’s our responsibility as non-Hawaiians to show that we stand side-by-side with Hawaiians, that we stand for justice for Hawaiian people, and that we don’t want Lingle to successfully divide our communities from each other,” Rose said.

STANDING STRONG ON SOVEREIGN SUNDAY
Participants Face Down State Police At Peaceful Gathering

HONOLULU - Hawai`i Department of Land & Natural Resources Officers threatened to arrest a group of about 30 Hawai`i Patriots today.
The activists were gathered to observe Sovereign Sunday, an annual vigil to mark the illegal over throw of Hawai`i's Queen and illegal occupation by the US.
Participants stood firm in the face of mass arrests.
At issue was the event being conducted without a permit.
But those attending did not feel they needed to get permission from the US to observe the illegal overthrow of their Kingdom.
The patriots declared victory after officers backed down, but not before confiscating tents.

HERE'S WHY HAWAIIAN CEDED LANDS ARE REALLY STOLEN LANDS
All land in Hawai`i was initially stolen in 1893 by a group of men who subsequently formed the Provisional Government.
Failing at its first attempt in 1894 to be annexed by the US Government, the provisional government reincorporated themselves into the Republic of Hawai`i.
The Republic of Hawai`i totaled less than 4000 citizens, mostly white foreigners, compared to the 45,000 or more non-whites living throughout Hawai`i at that time.
It was the Republic of Hawai`i that later exchanged stolen property (lands now known in part as the so-called “ceded lands”) with the US.

CHARGES DROPPED IN NAUE, KAUA`I TRESPASSING CASE

Kaua`i District Court Judge Trudy Senda today dismissed trespassing charges against four men who occupied a beachfront lot at Naue last August 7 to protect iwi kupuna (ancient burials) threatened by construction of a house there.
“My main thing is that we are decriminalized,” said defendant Andre Perez of O`ahu. “We walk away from this thing with dignity. We know who the real criminals were that day.”

IS HAWAI`I A FAKE STATE?
The United States acquired Hawai`i through force.
Queen Lili`uokalani, Hawai`i's last Queen, was deposed on January 17, 1893, by a group of American businessmen supported by the United States Navy and Marine Corps and diplomatic representatives.
Sovereignty of Hawai`i was allegedly transferred to the US on August 12, 1898 during ceremonies at `Iolani Palace in Honolulu, on the island of O`ahu by a small group of foreign business men who called themselves the "committee of safety."
Hawai`i allegedly became a US territory in 1900.
On Nov. 23, 1993, The United States apologized for illegally overthrowing the Kingdom of Hawai`i, and recognized the inherent sovereignty and right of self-determination of native islanders.
Needless to say, a lot of shady events took place between January 17,1893 and August 21, 1959.
There is not one document or shred of evidence to show that any land was transferred or given to the US by the Hawaiian Kingdom.
History Clearly Shows The Hawaiian Nation Wasn't Annexed It Was Stolen!

THOUSANDS TO PROTEST SALE OF STOLEN LANDS ON VOICES OF TRUTH – ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I’S FUTURE
This next weekend will see a lot of action protesting the attempted sale of stolen Hawaiian Kingdom lands.
First on Saturday the 17th a massive protest march will take place through Waikiki to express outrage on the issue.
The next day, Sovereign Sunday, will see those who support a Free Hawai`i gather at `Iolani Palace to mark the illegal overthrow of Queen Lili`uokalani, the Hawaiian Kingdom government, and the continuing illegal US occupation of Hawai`i.
We urge everyone, Hawaiian or not, to attend these important events. Both are free to the public and support from non-Hawaiians is not only welcome but also encouraged.
And this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV we'll tell you why the fake state of Hawai`i can never prove they own Hawaiian Kingdom land along with the one single thing they so wish they did have.
Its' everyday people who stand for what's right and that's who we have this week on Voices Of Truth – One-On-One With Hawai`i’s Future.
MONDAY, January 12th At 6:30 PM – Maui – Akaku, Channel 53

As she herself says, “we want our people to live and thrive right here.”
MONDAY, January 12th At 7:00 PM & FRIDAY, January 16th At 5:30 PM - Hawai`i Island – Na Leo, Channel 53
THURSDAY, January 15th At 8:30 PM & FRIDAY, January 16th At 8:30 AM – Kaua`i – Ho`ike, Channel 52
“Vanity & Insanity – A Visit With Skippy Ioane”
You never know what’s going to happen around Hawai`i Island activist and Hui Pu founder Skippy Ioane. Thrown off the steps of `Iolani Palace during our interview when he attempts to claim it as sovereign territory, Skippy offers his own unique insights about the illegal overthrow and US occupation, and tells us the single most important thing we can do today with ceded lands. Watch It Here.
SATURDAY, January 17th At 8:00 PM – O`ahu, `Olelo, Channel 53
"Kawainui Magic – A Visit With Chuck “Doc” Burrows"
What is it about Kawainui marsh that’s so irresistible? Certainly the unparalleled beauty and ecological importance, but there’s something else. Join us as we visit with long time Kawainui caretaker Chuck “Doc” Burrows as he explains the marsh’s deep cultural history and reveals why it’s a special place like no other. Watch It Here.
Voices Of Truth interviews those creating a better future for Hawai`i to discover what made them go from armchair observers to active participants. We hope you’ll be inspired to do the same.

SUPERFERRY WORDS OF WISDOM
Here's What SaveHonolua.org Says
"This company shows no respect and they continue to pay the price.
Last year they damaged their own vessel charging ahead in rough seas, then they damaged their docking barge and our pier, now their passengers vehicles.
What's next? Whales and monk seals? No respect for the power of the ocean.
They really should not even operate in these kind of rough conditions they are endangering all their passengers lives as well as our state rescue workers.
Where can I get my copy of the Superferry chronicles?"

SUPERFERRY DENTS MORE THAN PASSENGER WALLETS
Rough seas on Sunday resulted in "minor damage" to 13 vehicles aboard the Hawai`i Superferry during its voyage from O`ahu to Maui.
The company said the conditions caused some parked vehicles to shift during transit. "There was no substantive damage to the ship," said a company statement.
"Affected passengers have been contacted and we are facilitating their claims. This is the first incident in which significant vehicle shifting has occurred," the statement said.
"Vehicles are now being tied-down in affected areas on days when conditions are unusually rough to mitigate any damage."

SUPERFERRY - HOW NOT TO DO BUSINESS IN HAWAI`I
Ships' Survival Now In Hands Of Hawai`i Court
If a single situation could be held up as a model to discourage enterprise and investment in the state, it is that of the Hawai`i Superferry. The Lingle administration and an equally culpable state Legislature did no one - not taxpayers, the visitor industry, businesses or public or environmental interests - any favors in their bungling of the ferry issue.
Had officials simply adhered to legal requirements from the get-go, the harm imposed and that could yet be brought to the ferry company and others, and the community divisiveness their mistakes have generated would not have occurred.
