FURTHER RECENT ATTEMPTS TO FORCE US FEDERAL RECOGNITION ON HAWAIIANS

Please forward this to all Hawaiians and our supporters.

It has recently come to our attention that representatives of the Council For Native Hawaiian Advancement, (CNHA) the Sovereign Councils of the Hawaiian Homelands Assembly (SCHHA) and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs (AOHCC) met with the OHA trustees.

At the meeting the CNHA, SCHHA and AOHCC proposed that they, as a consortium, take over the education and nation building aspects of federal recognition.

Simply put, they want to take OHAʻs federal recognition initiative, “Ho`oulu Lahui Aloha” and implement it.

During the meeting, Michelle Kauhane of the CNHA, Kamaki Kanahele of the SCHHA and Soulee Stroud of the AOHCC informed the OHA trustees they are prepared to go forward and requested funding from OHA to do so.

Specifically, Kamaki Kanahele boldly told the OHA trustees he represents all DHHL homesteaders.

The truth of course is the SCHHA represent only 20% of all DHHL homesteaders and in the past year many homestead associations have dropped out of the SCHHA due to its support of federal recognition for Hawaiians.

Soulee Stroud claimed that his AOHCC can take the lead across the US. He also stated the majority of civic clubs support federal recognition, when the truth is many clubs no longer support the AOHCC endorsement.

The OHA trustees voted 5 to 4 on the proposal.

For it to pass, the vote would need to be 6 to 3.

Because the OHA trustees are notorious for secret back room dealings to get votes changed, it is critically important for everyone to let the trustees know that you are aware of this scheme.

Please contact the OHA trustees and insist they not approve any plan, now or in the future, to fund or allow the CNHA, SCHHA or AOHCC to implement education and nation building  for federal recognition.

Remind them that trustee elections are coming up in November and again in 2016.

CALL FOR PROTEST ACTION MONDAY AT HAWAI`I CAPITOL BUILDING

We want to alert you to a unique opportunity to let Neil Abercrombie and his fake state of Hawai`i along with the US Department of Interior know how you really feel.

This coming Monday, June 23rd from 9 AM to Noon in the state capitol auditorium will be the ONLY opportunity for the public in Honolulu to give testimony to the DOI.

The DOI claims this event is wide open to the public to give their mana`o.

Yet on the official agenda, Neil Abercrombie, countless Hawai`i fake state officials, Robin Danner, the CNHA, the SCHAA, Kamaki Kanahele and other special invitees are scheduled to testify - FIRST.

On the official agenda, the public is listed as dead LAST.

What that means in reality is that the clock will run out before any public testimony is given.

“Oh, sorry, but weʻre out of time! How did THAT happen?”

"No really, we do want to hear what you have to say - honest!”

So hereʻs how you can tell them what you have to say - Weʻre calling everyone to be at the capitol building from 9 AM to Noon on Monday to protest.

Let them know that you know this is a complete sham.

Let them know that Abercrombie and his re-election stunt, OHA, the Native Hawaiian Roll commissioners, Robin Danner, the CNHA, Kamaki Kanahele and the SCHAA do NOT speak for you.

Itʻs critical that large numbers of people are there to protest so the media knows that our opposition to the proposed administrative rules is the story rather than Abercrombieʻs re-election campaign.

We encourage you to come with protest signs.

Here are some suggestions to put on those signs -

Kamaki Kanahele Is Not Our King

Robin Danner Does Not Speak For Us

SCHAA Shafts Hawaiian Homesteaders

Abercrombie Against Hawaiians

Hawaiians Say NO To Rule Changes

Go Home DOI

DOI Will leave Hawaiians High & Dry

Bye Bye DOI

No Aloha In OHA

Get the picture? This is the one and ONLY opportunity the public will have in Honolulu.

Be at the fake state capitol this Monday morning at 9AM to let them know how you feel.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! - HELP SAVE HAWAI`IʻS CEDED LANDS!

We want to alert you to an extremely urgent situation.

Please forward this to every Hawaiian and our supporters.

By now, you may have heard that US Department of Interior hearings will be starting in Hawai`i this coming Monday. They will be going to all islands to gather public testimony that will justify the taking of Hawaiian “so-called ceded lands”.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE TO ATTEND & TELL THEM “NO! I AM AGAINST THE PROPOSED ADMINISTRATIVE RULE CHANGE.”

Who Is Behind These Proposed Changes -

For the last two years, OHA, the Danners and the CNHA, Kamaki Kanahele and the SCHAA and John Waihe`e Sr. have been secretly lobbying the Obama administration hard to drastically change the playing field for Hawaiians with respect to entitlements and the ceded lands.

What They Hope To Achieve -

The changes they are proposing on the surface may sound harmless. They are not.

The group of individuals mentioned above are proposing to the US Dept. of Interior an updating of the rules and regulations to the US congressional 1920 Hawaiian Homes Commission Act.

If done, this would be a disaster for all Hawaiians.

OHA, the Danners and the CNHA, Kamaki Kanahele and the SCHAA and John Waihe`e Sr. are very slyly proposing to the DOI to transfer all rights from Hawaiian homesteaders to themselves as well as control of the “so-called ceded lands” and all other Hawaiian assets.

The changes they are proposing to DOI would replace - i.e. update - the rules and regulations of the 1920 act.

What This Will Do -

It means that OHA, the Danners and the SCHAA would end up with control of all Hawaiian homestead lands, the ceded lands and other assets which would give them the power and resources to control and run a Native Hawaiian Government.

They would then be in the driverʻs seat in any US federally recognized “Native Hawaiian Governing Entity.”

Finally it means that they would then have the power to negotiate away forever all of the ceded lands. See former US Representative Abercrombie’s address to Congress re: “It’s About The Land” - HERE

It Is Extremely Important That Everyone Shows Up To Tell DOI “NO! I am against the proposed administrative rule change.”

Here is is the most important information we can convey to you -
DOI hearings are run very strictly with very little time for each person to testify. If you speak off point, they will turn your mic off and escort you out of the hearing room.

It is critical that you do only the following in your testimony at the DOI hearings.

DO -

When you testify, the first words out of your mouth should be “NO! I am against the proposed administrative rule change.” Thatʻs really all you have to say. Only speak in english.

DONʻT -

Donʻt recite your genealogy. Donʻt speak in Hawaiian. Donʻt demand independence. Donʻt shout or become agitated. Donʻt say anything other than the fact that you are against the proposed administrative rule change. Itʻs that simple.

Only say “NO! I am against the proposed administrative rule change.”

OHA, the Danners, the SCHAA and John Waihe`e Sr. are attempting to achieve what Inouye and Akaka could not in 10 years in the US congress with the US federal Akaka bill.

Now is the time to step forward and put a stop to this current attempt to complete the theft of Hawaiian Kingdom lands once and for all.
