VOICES OF SOVEREIGNTY ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE

“Hawai`i - A Voice For Sovereignty,” a film by Catherine Bauknight, is premiering in Washington DC this coming Thursday, June 4th.

Sponsors, the US congressional delegation and Office Of Hawaiian Affairs, pulled out upon discovering the film’s message was not to their liking.

Sources say they are now actively working to sabotage the film’s premiere, warning people to stay away, even getting the caterer to cancel.

But invitations were already sent out and people are coming. The showing is proceeding without promised funding and support.

Got a question whether independence is a coming reality? Watch Free Hawai`i TV this Wednesday and decide for yourself.

BULLETIN! - SUPERFERRY FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY

Hawai`i Superferry Inc., which provided high-speed ferry service for cars and passengers between Hawai`i’s O`ahu and Maui islands, filed for bankruptcy protection today.

Hawai`i Superferry and parent HSF Holding Inc. filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy petitions in Wilmington, Delaware. They cited a Hawai`i Supreme Court ruling in March that struck down a state law permitting the company to operate before completing an environmental impact statement.
HOW DID HAWAIIANS BECOME OUTCASTS IN THEIR OWN LAND ?
Here's What The History Books Won't Tell You -
Western diseases, to which Hawaiians had no immunity, decimated their numbers. At the time of western contact, some 800,000 people inhabited the Hawaiian Islands.

By 1805 that number had been halved.

By 1853 there were only 71,000 Hawaiian or part-Hawaiian people in the islands.

Within 100 years of western contact, the Hawaiian population had been reduced by nearly 90 percent.

According to the 2000 census, the numbers of people who claim some native Hawaiian ancestry have increased to over 400,000. But only 239,000 live in Hawai`i and they are the poorest, most locked-up population in the state.

Although they only make up about 20 percent of the state's population, in June 2001 they made up 39 percent of the state's prison population, according to the state Department of Public Safety.

Sadly, they make up 37 percent of the state's homeless population.

2007 VERSION OF AKAKA BILL GETS REINTRODUCED

WASHINGTON — The Hawai`i congressional delegation Wednesday reintroduced the 2007 version of the Akaka Bill, in both chambers of Congress that would turn native Hawaiians into native American indians.

The 2007 version of the bill is one of the most deadly, as any legal recourse for Hawaiians after their land would be seized by the US federal government, has been stripped from the bill.

A THIEF TRANSFERRING THE GOODS TO SOMEONE ELSE
University of Hawai`i-Manoa Hawaiian Studies Professor Jonathan K. Osorio will continue the legal fight to block the state from selling ceded lands, even as the Lingle administration, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs and three other plaintiffs in the case appear to be close to a settlement.

Osorio, however, said in a statement to The Honolulu Advertiser he is not part of the settlement and that he believes the two-thirds approval requirement in SB 1677 does not go far enough to resolve the concerns he and other Native Hawaiians have raised.

"Until Hawaiian claims to crown and government lands have been resolved, their sale must be prevented by the strongest law possible," Osorio said.

LIFE UNDER THE AKAKA BILL -
INDIANS ASK APPEALS COURT FOR JUSTICE

WASHINGTON, May 11 - A federal appeals court was told today that it should offer 500,000 Native Americans some form of "rough justice" as a result of the federal government's acknowledged mismanagement of their trust accounts.

Attorney Dennis M. Gingold, who represents the Indians in a 13-year-old class action lawsuit, said justice for the Native American trust account beneficiaries cannot be complete because so many records of what happened to their trust lands and funds are missing.

That means some form of "rough justice" is required, Gingold said, adding that any resolution of the case must be fair.

"If not, we'll all be here another 13 years," Gingold told a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

Government lawyers said they want the case declared at an end and
the Indians given nothing at all.

WHO HAS ANSWERS ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE

Being held hostage is never a pleasant thing.

Yet that’s exactly what Hawai`i finds itself as one more time as a result of the way Hawai`i’s economy is positioned – a tourism-based economy created to serve the occupier – the US.

Is there a better way? Find out this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV.

But we’ll tell you now it’s often the hostages themselves who have figured out the escape route.

We have two individuals, Malia and Mahealani, who came up with answers in their own respective ways to solve “It cant’ be done” type problems. See for yourself this week on

SUPERFERRY ON SALE - LITERALLY
You Could Own A Piece Of The "Crock"

Honolulu Advertiser - Friday, May 15, 2009

Souvenir hounds and bargain hunters will get a chance to bid on remnants of Hawai`i Superferry's short-lived and contentious operations at auctions to be held on Maui and O`ahu.

Everything from restroom trailers, portable offices, traffic cones, light towers, office furniture, Superferry shirts and shoe scrubbers will go on the auction block at 10 AM tomorrow at the former ferry terminal at Kahului Harbor, located at Pu`unene and Ka`ahumanu avenues.

The O`ahu auction will take place 10 AM, May 23, at Honolulu Harbor Piers 19 and 20.

"It is clear that it is going to take an extended period of time to set the conditions for any future operations in Hawai`i, for example, completing another (environmental impact statement), and, hence, the logic to auction off equipment," said Hawai`i Superferry president and chief executive officer Thomas Fargo in an e-mail.

DOES THE HAWAIIAN KINGDOM STILL EXIST?

The Maui News - May 8, 2009

The writer of an April 23 letter stated "The kingdom was extinguished . . . by dejure recognition of a new government of Hawai`i in 1894."

No nation explicitly recognized the Republic of Hawai`i as the dejure government. They only acknowledged the fact of the republic's actual control. De facto is defined as "In fact a state of affairs which must be accepted for all practical purposes but is illegal or illegitimate."

The Hawai`i Kingdom wasn't "extinguished per 1893 law...."

...The writer is correct is saying "the kingdom was not a wholly Native Hawaiian entity." The Hawaii Kingdom's existing claims are based on nationality, not ethnicity.

Therefore the Akaka Bill's attempts to reduce legitimate international kingdom claims to a race-based domestic dependent entity are worse than "nonsense."

This violates the U.S. Constitution, present day international law and the rights of all kingdom subjects and their Hawai`i-born descendants.

HAVE YOU EVER ASKED US IF WE WANT THE AKAKA BILL?

Regarding the May 7th Advertiser “Isle delegation reintroduces version of the Akaka bill approved in 2007” article, again politicians far away and seemingly further out-of-touch with their constituents are making decisions for thousands that have yet to be heard on this specific issue.

Not since 2000 have hearings been held on any of the Hawaiian Islands. Certainly the 2007 Akaka Bill which easily passed through many congressional committees then was not brought to the Hawaiian communities.

You’d think hearings would be held on such an important bill that affects our entire community.

I guess we can expect the same from Washington DC and Washington Place as we have from Wall Street. More corruption with no remedy!

MIRACLES DO COME TRUE ON VOICES OF TRUTH - ONE-ON-ONE WITH HAWAI`I'S FUTURE

The launch of HawaiiFakeState.com this last week has shown one simple fact – never before have so many been so interested in learning the truth about Hawai`i and it’s real history.

We’ll be hearing a lot this summer from the fake state itself claiming the biggest lie of all – Hawai`i as the 50th state. But because now you know better – let others know – HawaiiFakeState.com

OLD VERSION OF AKAKA BILL INTRODUCED INTO CONGRESS

Hawai`i's congressional delegation has decided to turn to the past to advance the Akaka bill, a measure that would give native Hawaiians federal recognition similar to that of American Indians.

Yesterday, the four island Democrats reintroduced the version of the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act approved by the House and the Senate Indian Affairs Committee in 2007.

FAKE STATE & OHA FAIL TO TRANSFER STOLEN LANDS

Honolulu Advertiser - May 2, 2009

A bill that would have the state negotiating to transfer nearly 20 percent of its land inventory to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs in exchange for giving up all future claims to ceded lands appeared dead last night at the Legislature.
